A gaggle of gays who call themselves Queers Against Israeli Apartheid were touting their being allowed (after initially being banned) to march in the Torono Gay Pride parade, which they spun as “as a blow against censorship:”
“This is a victory for the Palestine solidarity movement, which has faced censorship and bullying tactics from the Israel lobby for far too long,” says Tim McCaskell, a member of Queers Against Israeli Apartheid. “The Israel lobby learned a tough lesson today about our community’s proud history of standing up to censorship and human rights abuses.”
You know who has a real history of censorship and human rights abuses — especially against queers? That’s right: Palestine, Hamas, and the entirety of Islam. Where the punishment for being like you (and by like you, I mean rug munchers and pole smokers) is death.
And do you know who has a real history of standing up to censorship and human rights abuses? That’s right: Israel.
So, other than being driven insane by their homosexuality, why in hell would these Ghays be supporting the very people who would kill them for…well, simply being their out-of-the-closet self.

Robbie, I do realize you were being facetious. I have read plenty of your posts in which you clearly articulate your stance and I whole-heartedly agree with you. I just wrote my second post as something of a disclaimer to make my own views more clear, in reference to my first post.
This particular group’s agenda does not make any sense, given the extreme abuse and human rights violations they would suffer at the very hands of those they seek to defend.

There was a documentary I watched which depicted the struggle of gays in the middle east and that execution loomed in the midst if they were found out.
These people need to be educated. It is really sad.

Sadly, in Iran gay men are forced to either have a sex change operation or be executed. They live in terror of their sexuality being discovered by authorities.
