Two men were killed in an overnight shooting last night in Austin, bringing our year-to-date homicide totals up to 17 so far in 2010.
17 murders through 7 months — which would be an average weekend in Chicago. Despite, you know, the fact that handguns are banned in Chicago and not Austin. So much for that theory that allowing people to practice their second amendment rights will lead to more violence and bloodshed.
When exactly the opposite has been proven time-and-time again.

Stunning logic.
Chicago has already had as many gun shot homicides this month than Austin has for the year.
Chicago’s desire to be a gun free zone is on hold.
I love my CHL.
You sure get around.
