Add Meghan McCain to the list of faux celebrities whose opinion I could give two shits about. Why ABC News thinks her opinion — she’s NOBODY, and has accomplished shit in her life on her own, other than have the good fortune to be born fortuitously — is worthy of The BIG News of the Day treatment is beyond me.

As Jennifer Rubin ^[2] notes, she ranks right up there with Rosie O’Donnell and Lindsay Lohan (and Paris Hilton and Matt Damon) in the “people I could do without hearing from or about” category.

Of course, the favorite beast of the Liberal-and-agenda-driven Main Stream Media is any faux Conservative willing to harshly criticize the GOP or other Conservatives. Meghan has about as much Conservative street-cred as her RINO old man.

Which is None. Zero. Zilch.

She [little Ms. McCain] is out plugging her book, which I don’t intend to read. If her interview with ABC is any guide, a good deal of the book is devoted to trashing Sarah Palin. She proclaims, based on her wealth of political experience and long years in office, that Palin’s selection was on the ”line between genius and insanity.” That’s a fairly rotten thing to say about one’s father. After all, Palin was his choice.

Why are the children of prominent politicians typically such worthless members of society?

How smart is Meghan McCain? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know…should be a rhetorical question, like, “How smart is a bowl of pig innards doused with Tabasco sauce?” or “How smart is getting involved in a land war in Asia?” (that’s right, bitches, two Princess Bride references in one day), or “How smart is a pile of rocks?”

This smart:

“I feel like I should clarify. I wasn’t fired,” she said. “I was asked to leave and not come back, or go on my own bus tour. So I elected to go on my own bus tour in Ohio.”

She said she never called her father to ask about the dismissal, which was linked to the growing controversy over her blog.

Look kid, I know you’ve never had a real job in your life, and thanks to old man, never will — but actually, being asked to leave a job and never come back? That’s the very definition of being fired.
