I will always remember that day, for many reasons.
I have no admiration for anything New York City. I am generally repulsed by the world view that comes from that place, but I have no desire to harm or kill those who live there.
While the most faithful adherents to the pathetic tome known as the Koran are, as they are as militant and totalitarian now as they were in the 7th century.
That this event is, in their view, a crowning achievement for what some call the Third Great Jihad, it should also be the defining moment when the world awakened to the threat that Islam presents and turned against it and away from it.
Sadly, too many appeasers and cowards are unwilling to confront or criticize Islam. Only the few who actually carry out murderous attacks, such as on 9-11, are condemned by proclaiming those “mufsidun” as hijacking a “peaceful” religion, ignoring the reality that all the “mufsidun” do or say is not only condoned by the Koran, but encouraged.
Most of those responsible for the deadly attack on 9-11 are either dead, incarcerated or huddled deep in a hidy-hole, which is as it should be. In the meanwhile, more have come forward to take their place. Some of the new Islamonazis are boldly demanding special considerations in this country, knowing that too many of our political leaders are weak and worthless in the face of danger.
Too many have forgotten and/or never learned the lessons of 9-11.
Personally, I will be enjoying one of the many benefits of our society today, which our men and women in the Armed Forces guarantee; watching college football all day and all night, without having to face Mecca and bang my head into the sand while sticking my butt in the air five times.
Not today or any other day.

Absolutely correct, regardless of how many terrorists are killed, there will always be more to take their place.
They indoctrinate the children from birth and prevent them from receiving a proper education and the Koran becomes the only thing in their life. It’s the only way for Islam to survive.
No person with a normal education would follow the brainless whims of a 7th century pedophile, camel humping idiot.
They will never be reasoned with, if they had one more brain cell……it would be all alone.
The only thing that cult understands is Brute Force.
Good post, n2l. I am still PO’ed from writing about 9/11 for my blog. During halftime, give it a peek. I wasn’t exactly PC about how I feel.

First entry, top of the page.
Thanks for posting this thread yesterday, N2L.
I wanted to make sure the day was appropriately commemorated, but, alas, real life got in the way (in a good way). Was out on campus from early yesterday morning until late at night hosting our UT Longhorns tailgating crew.
But thoughts of 9-11 were never far from my mind. The guys in the spot tailgating next to us were a group of Marines and UT ROTC Marines. The guy manning the smoke pit (Jacob) was a LCpl in the United States Marine Corps, and it wasn’t until the end of the evening, when he pulled his truck around to hitch up his pit-trailer did I notice his Purple Heart license plates.
As I told many people yesterday: I will not forget. I will not forgive. And I will never submit.
My pleasure.
I was a little concerned you might have a post to go up on the anniversary.
Glad it all worked out.
While you were out having fun, I was parked in front of the tube having fun watching the Sooners, as well as a bunch of others.
I will not forget.
