Why am I not surprised that this guy is a neighbor of Mr. and Mrs. Obama back in Chicago:

A prominent college law professor’s posting of his family’s finances on the internet to make the case that they are struggling to make ends meet — despite their estimated $400,000-plus income — has lit the fuse of an online debate that he claims has made him the target of an “online lynch mob,” FOXNews.com reported Wednesday.

Todd Henderson, a corporate law professor at the University of Chicago — and a neighbor of President Barack Obama — said that since he posted his finances online he has been barraged with comments such as “die yuppie scum,” forcing him to shut down his site out of fear for his family.

Reminds me of when Mee-chelle lamented, “I wake up every morning wondering how on earth I am going to pull off that next minor miracle to get through the day,”  and her struggles “to keep her head above water,” despite being millionaires who have the best rent-free government housing in the world (plus killer job benefits).

Perhaps the Obama’s will have Prof. Henderson over for a pity-party the next time their back home in Chicago…

  1. They ought to check the water in that neighborhood. Apparently living there turns one into a giant, blubbering vagina.

  2. Just like Obama, they have trouble with financial priorities.

  3. Saw that story a week ago or so – he consistently writes as a conservative/libertarian for a well trafficked economics blog and was bitching about the Bush tax cuts expiring.

  4. Why is this a slight on Obama just because they are neighbours?
