One of the things that makes me angriest about this choice is that it was passed by three people — none of whom is accountable to the voters for their jobs. Sadly though, being that we’re in this Liberal oasis in the middle of an overwhelmingly Conservative state, this measure probably would be passed even if it were put to the vote.

This would be the same Mexican government who is screaming bloody hell about the inhumanity of the United States building a wall between us and the failed 3rd world nation that is Mexico.
Anyhow — a great time was had by all. Only one person got shot in the face (ok…so she wasn’t really shot, but she was hit in the face by the falling shards of an exploded clay pigeon from a station where you took a near vertical shot, resulting in what looked like birdshot in the face).
Oh, and for the record, I care as little about whether or not a young Christine O’Donnell “dabbled in witchcraft” nearly 20 years ago as I do that a young Barry Soto dabbled in giving blowjobs to drunk old men in a back alley to buy crack cocaine to feed his addiction (allegedly — I mean, where else did he get the money to buy his drugs? ).

I’m not afraid of heights. I used to live on the 28th floor of an apartment building in downtown Houston, and spent numerous hours hanging over the edge of my balcony (across the street from the old Enron headquarters).

If I were a parent in this school district, the dismissal/resignation of the entire school board, the districts administration, the principal and the teachers involved, would not be enough.
