France has a 10% muslim population and look how far gone they are.
We have less than a 1% percent muslim population and yet the agitation for more consideration is increasing.

Interesting video. I would like to read the book. This has been going on for decades. It seems that the French, who have always been proud of their culture and language, have tried to stop it but it is like putting a finger the dike.
The French are puffed up proud of their culture, but the fatal flaw with their pride is they think all others are envious of it. Their weakness is what attracts this aggressive, proselytizing cult.
I am envious of their culture. The language is beautiful (though lacks directness)and their food is great. There is nothing better than the museums and book stores in Paris and just walking around. But it is evident that they are crazy about American culture, too. You see it everywhere.
I used to read/speak/write French quite well, but was never really a fan of their culture. It always seemed to lack confidence, so they over compensated with vanity.
There are aspects of their history I really liked, with Charles Martel being one of many historical figures that I admire. When Martel became The Hammer he saved Europe.

Oh, and Time had an article on a German banker who wrote a book and complained that islam and muslim’s are diluting German culture and that he doesn’t want his grandchildren growing up with calls to prayers being broadcast everywhere 5 times a day.
