Obama is wrong, not only for Texas, but for the United States. But, more importantly in this race, it’s important to remember that Obama has a vendetta against our state for having the temerity to stand up to his agenda.
And Chet Edwards is nothing more than Obama’s butt boy, all too willing to bend over and take it however his party leaders tell him to take it.
Obama is wrong for Texas, and so is Chet Edwards.
Republican Challenger Bill Flores Leads in All Polls
GOP challenger Bill Flores released an internal poll a few weeks ago that shows him up over the Democrat incumbent by 12 points. To know how bad it’s going to be on November 2 for Chet Edwards, his own poll concedes that he’s down by at least 4 points.
Not good news for an incumbent.
Go here to support Bill Flores in his attempt to take back the most Conservative district in Texas (HD-17) currently held by a Democrat.
Flores is not a career politician. Instead, he’s spent 30 years as an executive in the energy industry — which means he knows a thing or two about actually creating jobs. Something few Democrats know anything about.

Nope…not in HD-17. We recently just became residents of HD-47 (where Paul Workman is set to unseat unhinged big-government liberal [is there any other kind] Valinda Bolton) after living in HD-48 for the previous 10 years.
Hopefully Republican Dan Neil can knock off the “WE GOTTA SPEND MORE MONEY ON SCHOOLS!” liberal Donna Howard in November, too in my old district.
My friends and I were discussing during beers and college football on Saturday how unfortunate it is that our generation knows Republicans as hypocrites.
We all live in a conservative manner – work hard, save money, buy homes, guns, all married.
Yet, we cannot trust anything that comes out of a GOP members mouth, so we end up voting for Democrats in the hopes they wont spend nearly as much as GOP members.
Well, then you’re a foolish man. Has the GOP spent money like they were typical Liberals over the last 12-16 years? Yep. You betcha.
But do you really think that Democrats will ever “underspend” Republicans? All you have to do is look at the historic spike in spending and deficits under Obama and the Pelosi/Reid-led Congress to know the fallacy of your thinking.
If you’re truly as Conservative as you claim, then you would be working to elect more Conservative candidates, not voting for the clearly more fiscally-irresponsible Liberals.
