There is always more fascinating reading on the web than I can possibly take in or post about.

I will share some of the things I have found fascinating in the past few days, most of which are linked, with one that stands alone in its pure message.

One of the most interesting items I read in the past few days was from the Hillary supporters blog HillBuzz. These are the former Hillary supporters who became Sarah Palin supporters and formed the group PUMA.
The article, which is very long, is An Open Letter to Rush Limbaugh and His Listeners — With Notes on the Democrat Civil War Already In Progress.

That post seems to have much in common with a post from Atlas Shrugs, White House Crack Up.

Those two are devastating for hardcore Øbummer supporters. That is why they need to know and understand The Five Stages of Liberal Grief for Obama.

Fortunately for Øbummer he kept his snout out of the Crist-Meeks fiasco. Obviously the lesson was learned in the Joe Sestak scandal, but the wino nosed Bubba Clinton didn’t learn his lesson, or the fear of a Senate wipe out made the risk worth the attempt.

At least Øbummer has maintained his Hipster Dufus status by appearing on an ass clown comedy show.

Thoughts on a New Knighthood

Archbishop Chaput delivered the following remarks to Catholic cadets at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs on Monday, Oct. 25, 2010.

I want to offer you just four quick points tonight. Here’s the first. Military service is a vocation, not simply a profession.

The word “vocation” comes from the Latin word vocare, which means to call. In Christian belief, God created each of us for a purpose. He calls each of us by name to some form of service. No higher purpose exists than protecting other people, especially the weak and defenseless. This is why the Church, despite her historic resistance to war and armed violence, has held for many centuries that military service is not just “acceptable.” It can also be much more than that. When lived with a spirit of integrity, restraint and justice, military service is virtuous. It’s ennobling because – at its best – military service expresses the greatest of all virtues: charity; a sacrificial love for people and things outside and more important than oneself. It flows from something unique in the human heart: a willingness to place one’s own life in harm’s way for the sake of others.

I hope some of you will find this reading list interesting, just as I’m certain all of you have read some interesting items, as well.

  1. Robbie, followed the “Insider” interviews. And a few things stuck out; first, he said there would be an exit of some high top cabinet officals and Bang!, Summers leaves, along with Rahm and the man who is responsible for getting Obama elected, Axelrod. So “Insider” was right on the mark. Then, the HillBuzz letter.

I think there is an ‘inside the beltway’ war going on with the Democrats. They are lining up, taking sides. The Hillary supporters knew that Obama was not qualified for the job, but got behind him after the primaries thinking he would grow into the job, and after all, he is a “Democrat”.

But he is not growing into the job, doesn’t like being at the White House (confirmed by Woodward’s book) and is only comfortable when he is on the campaign trail. “Insider” claims Obama is smoking so much it worries his aides, and is on anti-depressant medication. Don’t know, but am not surprised by this claim.

There is no doubt there was some shady dealings going on in Texas. Hillary won by over 100K votes, yet Obama took the caucuses. Hillary supporters (like my 86 year old step mother) were locked out of the Dem caucus in Mexia, and certain Houston precincts. HillBuzz reported on these Obama thugs the very next day.

The Democrats in positions of power understand that Obama is a one trick pony and that he is doing more harm to them that they can ever repair. Two years ago they were saying the GOP was dead (Carville even wrote a book about the death of the GOP) and now they are facing such a rout it will be historic. The handwriting is on the wall for them; dump Obama or be relegated to the dust bin of history for decades.

Feingold, in trouble. Frank, in trouble. Reid, in deep trouble. All races considered safe just 12 months ago.

The Tea Party has put a spotlight on the rats, from both sides. And now the rats have no other choice but to jump the U.S.S. Obama and hope they can swim to safety. But it doesn’t end next Tuesday. It will end when Obama is shoved out of office, and more Constitutional heads prevail.

    • There have been many top officials to leave, including Gen. Jones the National Intelligence director, replaced by a political hack with no real world intelligence experience.

Not only is he not growing in the job, his stunted emotional development is becoming more and more obvious. Also, as the video from the campaign stop in Connecticut shows, he isn’t that comfortable on the campaign trail anymore.

Yes, the Øbummer thug machine was involved in the Texas primary. I talked to an old friend who lives in a small town in East Texas. On the night of the caucus he and his son were turned away by some ACORN types that were people he had never seen, and until a few years before he had served as the Chair of his counties Democrat Party. I’ve been telling him for years that his being a legacy Democrat means nothing today, as he is even more conservative than me on many issues.
The jackasses are now owned and pwned by the far left.

The level of awareness of the general population on the damage poor governance has caused, and the level of passion, will not abate any time soon. The best the jackasses can hope for is that the masses go back to sleep. It is incumbent upon everyone engaged now to make certain that doesn’t happen…again.
