I have no respect for the alleged journalist Christiane Amanpour.
Her history of espousing the middle east perspective in a biased manner is the cause.
When I heard she would be taking over as host of the ABC Sunday show ‘This Week’ I wasn’t surprised. I did ponder how long it would be before her history would catch up with her.
It happened today.
She just couldn’t help it, she is who she is.
From NewsBusters, “‘This Week’ Wages ‘Holy War’ Month Before Midterms: ‘We Believe that One Day the Flag of Islam will Fly Over the White House’”
On the Oct. 3 broadcast of “This Week,” the brainiacs at ABC determined it would be appropriate to pitch Christian leaders again moderate and extremist Muslims. This choice of programming comes at a time when many conservatives have chastised for being outspoken over the placement of Islamic worship center near the Sept. 11 Ground Zero site.

At times, Amanpour’s program appeared to break into almost Jerry Springer-like program, but with just religious themes, including people applauding and cheering from the audience.Since Amanpour has taken helm of “This Week” from Jake Tapper, the program has suffered its lowest ratings since 2003. Perhaps the recent direction of the program is an indicator.
The full story includes the video from the show.
Personally, I am quite pleased with their putting this show on now and using the guests and format that they did.
Does she actually believe that most Americans are so easily convinced that ‘chatting’ with islamists will make the whole world want to sing in perfect harmony?
Knowing what a committed leftist she is and that there is a mid term election in thirty days, the nagging question is; what was she thinking?
