Snowing in New Jersey

Let it snow, let snow, let it snow...

Global warming hardest hit.

A northward-moving strengthening storm will unleash a paralyzing blizzard along a vast swath of the I-95 Northeast corridor into Monday.

This is the same storm that buried parts of the West under yards of snow and mud, along with feet of rain in some locations last week.

The storm is no joke. Major highways could be shut down in the region. Some major airports could stop most flights, creating a nightmare for those souls heading home after the Christmas holiday from eastern North Carolina to Maine.

At least 15″ of snow expected in New York. Meanwhile, Columbia, SC had their first Christmas snow since records were first kept. In 1887. And Atlanta had their first white Christmas since 1882.

Here in sunny Austin, it was 23 degrees when I woke up this morning — but no snow.

At this point I’m guessing most of America is wishing man-made Global Warming was more than just a myth propagated to distribute wealth from wealthy nations to developing nations (and to line Al Gore’s pockets from the selling of the biggest fraud in modern times: carbon tax credits).

  1. Don’t worry, the climate change crowd (or whatever they call themselves this week) already has an excuse. They claim all the prior warming has created more moisture which, when it does get cold, creates record snowfalls.

    • So let me see if I’ve got this right then — extreme cold and record setting snow fall is also a result of Man Made Global Warming?

Brilliant! I mean, if you’re going to try and pull off the Big Myth, you might as well go all out.

    • How does that even make sense?
That more warming has created more moisture?

      • It’s almost an admission that the number one green house gas is water vapor…almost.
GoreBull Warming alarmist are without shame in their lies.

  2. And It’s supposed to get down to 20-21 up there in your neck o the woods Robbie. Supposed to hit 28 down here. global warming my ass.

  3. Time for an instant classic from last year by M4GW.

  4. And the NYT blames it all on global warming – “The not-so-obvious short answer is that the overall warming of the atmosphere is actually creating cold-weather extremes.” Why not blame Bush as well?

  5. “Don’t ask me why I’m (Staying in)going to Texas
It’s just the kind of place where I should be
Yeah there’s a lot of room (and no snow) beneath that southern moon (warmer too)
Texas you’re a good ol’ state by me”

Present company Amarillo, Lubbock and Dumas Tx accepted of course.

  6. The news says we ended up with 18″ here in beantown. I was unexpectedly at home today so I got to miss all the fun. And why was I unexpectedly at home? One of my patients gave me head lice. My poor washer and dryer have worked like hell over the last 2 days.

  7. a storm like this always precipitates a buttload of accidents. I’d be curious to know just how many of the people that are doing all that slipping and sliding in their vehicles and causing them, have heard of tire chains. I mean you know this is coming, and will likely bury your car before you awake the next morning right? So why oh why do would you not put chains on your tires? As soon as you get home and go to park your car for the night?
