Just goes to show that you don’t have to know a whole lot about the government in order to be a highly ranked member of it:
On CNN last week, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said that in the United States, “we have three branches of government – we have a House, we have a Senate, we have a president.”
As Shannon at So It Goes in Texas writes, “Umm, anyone want to tell Sen. Schumer about the Supreme Court?”
Of course, had Sarah Palin said this, it would be one more example (if not the very first one) of how incredibly stooopid she is.
