Michael Wayne Hall

Michael Wayne Hall: Despicable waste of flesh

UPDATE: He’s dead, and justice has been served.

Last year when Hall’s execution date was set, Amanda Robinson, the victim’s sister, told the Star-Telegram that the punishment would allow her sister to finally rest in peace.

“I’m sad for his family, but he’s got to pay the price,” she said. “You can’t go out and kill people.”

_____________

Michael Wayne Hall will be executed on Tuesday, February 15 for the 1998 torture and killing of Amy Robinson, a 19-year-old mentally impaired woman, whom Hall shot with arrows, a pellet gun, and then fatally with a rifle. The execution, probably not coincidentally, is on the anniversary of the date Hall and his accomplice,  Robert James Neville, killed Robinson (February 15, 1998).

Neville and Michael Wayne Hall worked at the same grocery store where the 19-year-old victim was employed as a sacker. The victim suffered from Turner’s syndrome, a rare chromosome disorder found only in women and characterized by short stature and lack of sexual development at puberty.

One morning on the way to work together, they saw the woman riding her bicycle and offered her a ride. Instead, they took her to a rural field in Fort Worth where she was shot repeatedly with a pellet gun, then killed with shots from a .22-caliber rifle as she begged for her life.

During the investigation of her disappearance, Hall’s stepbrother told police that Hall had told him that he and Neville had abducted and killed the woman. The two were arrested attempting to cross over into Mexico. Upon arrest, Neville acknowledged killing the woman and told police where to find the body. Neville told police that he and Hall were white supremacists and that they wanted to kill blacks. Neville and Hall purchased two .22-caliber rifles and ammunition and practiced shooting the rifles. Neville boasted about the slaying and told investigators, as well as TV and newspaper reporters, that he laughed as the woman lay on the ground, gasping for air. Neville explained in a TV interview that he and Hall killed the woman “for the adrenaline rush” and that the girl was used for “target practice.”

Neville was executed on February 6, 2006.

Halls appeals have all tried to claim that he’s retarded. The courts have disagreed and find him competent to die for his horrendous crimes.

If ever somebody deserved to be put to death for their crimes…it is Michael Hall. There is simply no way to rehabilitate a person who is capable of that kind of cruelty, of that kind of evil.

Next

Timothy Wayne Adams, 41, convicted of shooting his child, will be put to death on Feb. 20. And, like Hall, Adams will also be executed on the anniversary of the date of his crime.

  1. Any antis comments on this? *crickets*………………….
Nope, thought not. Nothing can condone this POS deserving life.

  2. Thanks for posting this Robbie. If you hadn’t I was going to.
I remember all too well when this occurred. Hall and Neville are two of the most cowardly murderers to ever steal oxygen.
If he isn’t already aware of the date, I hope he is reminded.

As for them seeing her on the way to work, actually they were looking for her and had been by the Kroger to check the work schedule to see when she was due at work.
    From Pro-Death Penalty:

Eighteen-year-old Michael Wayne Hall and his friend Robert Neville decided to kill someone because Hall was angry that he had a “sucky-ass” life. They started searching for the right victim and preparing for their crime by obtaining rifles, pellet guns, a crossbow, and ammunition. After much looking, Hall and Neville finally chose nineteen-year-old Amy Robinson, a friend and former coworker, because she trusted them and they “didn’t have to put bruises on her to get her in the car.” The evidence also revealed that Amy had a genetic disorder that made her small and mentally and physically slow. She stood four feet five inches tall and had the mental capacity of a third or fourth grader. On February 15, 1998, Hall and Neville went looking for Amy in order to carry out their murderous plan. They checked her schedule at the Kroger grocery store and then lay in wait for her to ride by on her bicycle on her way to work. When the pair saw Amy, they coaxed her into the car, promising to drop her at work after they circled around in the country. As Neville drove, Amy complained that she did not want to be late for work. Neville then pretended to have a flat tire and pulled the car over on a dirt road by a remote field. Hall and Neville got out of the car and walked into the field carrying their weapons while an unsuspecting Amy waited in the car listening to the radio. At some point, Hall persuaded Amy to get out of the car, telling her she needed to go talk to Neville near a tree. As Amy walked toward Neville, he fired a crossbow at her several times. Neville missed each shot, but Amy became angry when the last arrow grazed her hair. When Amy started walking back to the car, Hall shot her in the back of her leg with his pellet gun. Hall and Neville laughed while Amy cried in pain. Meanwhile, Neville returned to the car and got his .22 caliber rifle. When Hall managed to maneuver Amy back into the field, Neville shot her in the chest. Hall then shot her in the chest “three or four or six times” with the pellet gun. Amy fell to the ground making loud noises and shaking. Hall then stood over her and stared for five to ten minutes. The pair worried that someone would hear Amy, so Neville shot her in the head, killing her instantly. Hall and Neville then left Amy and her bicycle in an area where they would not be easily discovered. A few days later, they returned to the scene. Neville fired shots into Amy’s dead body, and Hall took keys and money from her pocket. When Amy’s family and coworkers realized she was missing, a massive search ensued. More than two weeks later, authorities focused on Hall and Neville. Fearing they would be caught, the pair fled Arlington but were soon arrested when they attempted to cross the border into Mexico. The authorities found Amy’s body on the day of the arrest.

I doubt Amy ever truly knew she was in danger. That’s why they chose her as a victim, because she was so vulnerable and they were such pathetic cowards. Their “sucky-ass” lives reached maximum suckage when they murdered an innocent and unfortunate young lady. A young lady they should have protected from the evils of the world.

Hall will continue to “suck” until tomorrow evening. He qualifies as one of those who are just no damned good.

I only hope the family of Amy Robinson can find some comfort in the justice being served on Amy’s murderers. This nightmare has gone on for far too long.

    • tya so very much for what ya wrote she will allways be in my heart amy will be 32 this april 2011 to be killed shortly after high school its truely sad but i mean but NOBODY CAN HURT, STEAL,TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HER ANY MORE she worked 2 jobs babysat for her sister, i could say more BUT I WONT shes inm heaven with angels

  3. Wow, what a story. It’s people like this that I think the Electric Chair should be reinstated. What 2 disgusting ugly bitches.

  4. I recommend a slow torturous death.

  5. Alright! one more piece of shit about to be flushed! It’s a beautiful thing. :)

  6. YAY for Texas! I am vacationing in Alaska right now (went to Wasilla yesterday…hee hee) and LOVE to see my great state getting rid of more hell bound fucks. Oh wait, it is 6:01 CT right now…is he dead yet!?!?!

  7. He’s dead, Jim!
    As of 6:23p.m.
No word yet if any innocent chickens were sacrificed on his behalf.

  8. How funny Hayley! I was just reading about Wasilla! Looking at different places in Alaska for future visits..I agree with L. A. Guy, if we run of juice, why not just get Ol’ Sparky up and running? Cruel and Unusual punishment? I think what these guys did was definitely cruel and unusual and deserves a punishment that equals the crime.

Poor chickens..when will the suffering stop!

  9. You guys crack me with the chicken comments haha!!! What a horrible crime, made my skin crawl. Why do people feel it is okay to pick on those who seem weaker, bloody cowards. I’ve just recently watched a documentary about Phoebe Prince, the 15yr old who killed herself because of severe bullying (I’m sure you are all familiar with this). Another case of vile people who are like a pack of wolves and prey on those who seem weaker to them, bastards!!! Should be done for involuntary manslaughter (no2liberals you were in law enforcement, couldn’t they have been charged with that too?)

    • Good to see your nic. How is that young one doing?
I’m not sure, but I think you would have a hard time making that charge. I’m only vaguely familiar with the case and don’t know if any criminal charges have been filed. I do know the girls family has a solid civil case.

  10. Hiya, my little girl is about to turn one and my son is now at school, time flies, but she is a delight so much like my late dad, shame he couldn’t meet her. Thanks for asking. As for the Phoebe Prince case, I can’t stop thinking about it, the kids involved have been charged, the 2 boys with statutory rape and the girls with criminal violation of civil rights, stalking etc, something like that, the case doesn’t go to trial till later this year I think. The kids who were involved worte on Phoebe’s memorial Facebook page “good job, she got what she deserved, accomplished” etc after they found out she was dead – SICKOS!!! But the school claims they had no idea which is complete bullshit as the mother and aunt on 2 separate occasions went up to the school regarding the bullying plus teachers were seen comforting Phoebe after incidents. I’m a teacher myself so I have a real passion about anti bullying plus with Blake starting school, I’m also keeping an eye out. We had a case not so long ago about a 12yr old committing suicide due to text bullying, man these people are sociopaths, something must be seriously wrong in the head. The US is not the only place struggling with the issue, the problem is the bullies, if not dealt with, could end up in jail and those who were bullied could also end up there too, by taking matters into their own hands and totally losing the plot, if schools etc do not enforce the consequences of bullying. Sorry to go on just gets me riled up. Anyway hope your well, been keeping up to date with comments etc.

    • Thanks for letting us know. Last I saw you were still pregnant, but about to get busy.
Glad to hear you have a happy, healthy little girl. I have daughters and grand daughters.

As to the bullying, I hear of these cases, but for many reasons they haven’t climbed my outrage meter as much. I grew up in a different time where if you got bullied you were expected to take care of the coward(s) yourself or to help out a weaker and more vulnerable person who was getting bullied. There is one simple truth about bullies, they are all physical cowards.
Now, with so many caught up in “social networks” online, it is another way for kids to get their kicks or get their feelings hurt. I know it is important to some kids what others think of them or say, true or not, but it just never mattered to me, so it is hard for me to understand.
What bullies need is to be whopped upside the head with a tree branch. That is what my oldest brother did to his bully when he was in the first grade and the bully was in the 3rd. He was never bothered again.

  11. Yeah I agree, my mum was telling me when she was at school her two younger brothers were being picked on by the school bully so she went up to him and punched him in the face, which is quite funny to hear because my mum doesn’t have a violent bone in her body (or so I though haha), but that bully didn’t bug anyone again, probably cos he got beaten up by a girl LOL!!! Problem today is all the PC bullshit we have to deal with, I know many times as a teacher I have wanted to tell the victim to punch the bully back but I’m not allowed, and the bullies get pampered because there is obviously something wrong eg, a problem at home etc. It makes me wonder about the “families” of the bullies in Phoebe Prince’s case, do they have a hold over the school and the board, is it money etc etc, who knows, but I do know a young innocent girl was completely ignored and her “problems” were swept under the carpet. I was listening to the news last night and a 13 yr old was beaten up in the first week back at school here in NZ by 3 other 13yr old girls and those culprits have not been stood down because they are looking into what really happened. Even though the victim is in hospital with head injuries and possible brain damage WTF!!! Why haven’t these kids been charged with serious assult? Anyway No2liberals, nice to catch up and hear your opinions/ideas (you don’t pull any punches you call a spade a spade, which is quite refreshing at times), have you heard anymore about Big Sis? Is she still waiting to have her day in court…again!

    • Like I said, I grew up in a different time.
Now, if kids defend themselves they are as likely(or maybe even more likely) to get in trouble.
One of my grand daughters got in trouble in the 2nd grade for kicking another kid peeping under her bathroom stall door. I was proud of her for sticking up for herself. But the school has a zero tolerance for hitting/kicking/striking. I never would have made it through high school without getting arrested under these schtoopid PC rules, the trouble makers would have seen to it.

      • Been there, done that.
(in terms of getting in trouble for rightfully defending myself)

There should be no protection for the wolves.
The progressives are creating a wolf-friendly environment, and a breeding ground for more shit, while striking the sheepdogs and holding them under bars.

        • Yeah, no protection for the wolves or the hyenas.
The pro-regressives believe their own bullshit far too much, which is why they send a blond unveiled female reporter into the middle of a pack of rioting muslims and then act surprised when she is harmed.

        • As for the reporter, my condolences to her.

As for the liberals behind it, permanent sterilization.
And maybe a partial lobotomy (if there’s anything in there to stir, other than the moon and a bat)…

        • No way the reporter doesn’t suffer PTSD from her experience.
Rather than accept the reality that a blond American unveiled female reporter in the midst of a mob is a bad idea and that muslim men see her as “uncovered meat,” the pro-regressive media has a new line.

Corrupt Media Blames Rampant Sexual Abuse in Mideast on “Boredom & Unemployment”

There is no limit on how far the libturds will go to avoid the truth.

        • Well, I’ve had it.
Full lobotomies, then summary life sentences to mental institutions.

  12. Haha good on your granddaughter!!! Yeah my mum is of the same understanding and probably same era, so you must be dumbfounded with how things are today. Yes your right the “victim” would also get into trouble for defending themselves, makes you wonder what kind of kids we are raising these days, future leaders…. scary!!! My husband tells Blake to hit them back if they hit you first. He was a rugby player (6″4 and broad, so not small at all) but never started a fight on the field, however if someone threw the first punch he would consider it a freebie for that guy and practically giving him the go ahead to kick his arse, shouldn’t laugh but it was kinda funny, male testosterone on the rugby field (and you know what us Kiwis are like when it comes to rugby LOL).

  13. New Zealand have an awesome rugby side, im from Wales and we also have an awesom rugby side

  14. Yep Wales do have a great rugby side, way better than England LOL!!!

  15. come on wales in the 6 nations. (Bread of Heaven)

  16. No2L A perfect DP song that comes to mind is the 1st few lines of smells like teen spirit

  17. I am a staunch supporter of the death penalty but find it particularly vile when it is used to kill mentally retarded people which is exactly what happend on Feb. 15th 2011. I knew Michael Hall when he was a boy and can personally testify to his lacking mental capabilities. His mother was an alcoholic who drank so much while she was pregnant that he was born with fetal alcohol syndrome which left him severly mentally handicapped. I am not making excuses for his part in the abduction and torture of Amy Robinson and I most definatly think he should have spent life in prison. I know that he was not the criminal mastermind of this horrific crime and think a huge injustice was served. And everyone know as well as I do that two wrongs don’t make a right.

    • I don’t doubt he wasn’t a rocket scientist, but I have full faith and confidence that his mental abilities were tested and the results fully reviewed(several times) before the courts ruled on his execution.
He knew and understood the difference between right and wrong.

      His own final words:

“I would like to give my sincere apology to Amy’s family,” Hall said as he was strapped to the death chamber gurney. “We caused a lot of heartache, grief, pain and suffering, and I am sorry. I know it won’t bring her back.”

Speaking just above a whisper, his voice shaking and eyes watery, Hall said he wasn’t the same person and repeatedly asked for forgiveness. Relatives of his victim stood a few feet away, looking through a window.

“I am not crying for myself, I am crying for the lost and those that are dying for their sins,” he said. “I’ve been locked up 13 years. I am not locked up inside. All these years I have been free. Christ has changed me. Here I am, a big strong youngster, crying like a baby. I am man enough to show my emotions and I am sorry.

“I am sorry for everything. I wish I could take it back, but I can’t.”

Those don’t sound like the thoughts and words of a babbling idiot, but of someone who was fully aware of the consequences of the crime he was about to pay for.

It’s unfortunate he had a rough upbringing, but many people do and don’t resort to torturing and murdering innocent and helpless people.
I disagree with your assessment and believe the state was right in his execution.

  18. They jury heard all the evidence about his family life and his intelligence, did not find it convincing, and sentenced him to death.

From 2002 to the date of execution, the issue of his intelligence was addressed in both the state and federal courts, including habeas corpus hearings to take additional evidence regarding his Atkins claim. Again, none of the reviewing courts found it convincing.
