Sorry about the unusual number of Youtube videos today, but sometimes you just have to hear and see something for yourself. Like Obama’s speech to the Chamber of Commerce today, where he came right out and said it: Corporate Profits “Have To Be Shared By American Workers.
Tell me how that is any different than socialism again?
“If we’re fighting to reform the tax code and increase exports, the benefits cannot just translate into greater profits and bonuses for those at the top. They have to be shared by American workers, who need to know that opening markets will lift their standard of living as well as your bottom line,” President Obama told the Chamber of Commerce on Monday morning.
From a guy who has never held a private job, no less.

This is what happens when you believe your own bullshit.
This poseur would pull a Chavez in a heart beat if he could.
*poof*
Way to address the issue. Oh that’s right, you can’t. Because it’s spot on. Which means you either agree with Obama’s socialist policies and world view, or you have no way to defend it otherwise.
Watch the double-tap.
Proves your inept nature to comprehend common sense.
Why yes, I am a giant douchenozzle. Why do you ask?
Spoken like a true socialist. Please let this nightmare end before 2012.
*poof*
Says the troll who can’t keep his head out of business.
Get a real job.
Or, actually, graduate first.
sig….fuck off you idiot. No one here is crying you retard. I love how you turn ABB into ABC. I for one would not have voted in a dimocrat primary because my voter card would be stamped with red ink that says….wait for it….dimocrat. What happened in the primaries was all the reverse racist out there, plus the stupid young generation believed in this ass hats mantra of hope and change. Remeber hope and change? Tell me you fuck stain where is the hope and change? The only change I see is the country going further away from what made us a great nation. And all the while, chumps like you call the other side names and toss insults any chance you get.
Now come back with yet another witty coment on what little babies we are, or you can do what real adults do and try to argue with facts. Oh yeah, you have none.
GOD BLESS TEXAS!!
Poof!
Hey! that last guy swore way more than I did in my comment?
No freedom of speech huh?
Why do you hate democracy so much?
Heh. Actually thought you were an unrelenting troll who has been banned. I’m fairly certain you’re not. You’re just another run-of-the-mill Libs. How’s that socialized medicine working out for you in Canada?
And you do understand that “freedom of speech” and me allowing others to post on my blog are two entirely different things, don’t you?
Our health care is working just fine. Sure there’s problems with it but I don’t have illness-induced bankruptcy hanging over my familys head every hour of every day.
As to “run of the mill lib” – hardly, but I do hate the Harpy that’s in office right now.
The alternative (in American “black/white only” speak) of every man for himself and selective Darwinism for the rest (funny that Righty hypocrisy- survival of the fittest, yes, evolution, no), certainly doesn’t sync with the way I want to live my life.
Of course hardly run-of-the-mill liberal, because most of Canada is liberal.
I speak from living around Toronto.
If Obama had ever held a real job, or worked for a single day in the private sector, he would understand that companies already share their profits with their workers. In the form of their salaries and their benefits. And if those workers want to share even more of their companies’ profits, all they have to do is become share holders — invest in some stock.
Of course then they would also be sharing in their companies’ risks, too.
This from a guy who wouldn’t have a paycheck were it not for the government.
That’s not true at all.
We’re a private company and only a portion of our revenue is via sales to the US DoD. Which means you are simply talking out of your ass without knowing what the hell you’re talking about. Which also makes you a typical libtard.
Well, he didn’t actually say “profits have to be shared with American workers”. I don’t think his handlers would allow such a phrase to appear on his teleprompter.
I think the speechwriter left the phrase deliberately ambiguous so that when challenged, he can say “No, I meant that the benefits (of reforming the tax code) have to be shared,” while at the same time allowing his core supporters to say, “Oh happy day; our Leader is going to make those evil corporations share their ill-gotten gains with us.”
Every morning on CNBC they talk about how lean and mean the companies have become and how their profits have soared and of course so has the stock market. Lean = people they laid off after the crash and didn’t rehire. They didn’t suddenly employ new technology to replace them. So what are they doing with all their wealth? They’re either investing in emerging markets or they are making acquisitions. Bottom line is they are not hiring U.S. workers, they’re not providing pension plans, and they’re not giving good raises, but they’re making damn good profits
Before everybody jumps all over this conservative, note I also greatly dislike unions. Their members, especially public members, are grossly overcompensated and babied to the death of the rest of us. However, I think that after a few more years of these “lean and mean” big companies, ordinary private company folk are going to get fed up and the unions might start to look a lot better than they do now.
At some point there is going to have to be a happy middle found where workers are fairly compensated and unions are reined in or there will be really big problems in this country, especially as prices continue to rise for necessities like food, energy and gas not to mention what is going tol happen as a result of Obamacare and the national debt.
In the meanwhile, we have no true leadership in this country. Obama’s policies are actually a war on the middle class, especially the upper middle class and he knows it but doesn’t care as long as he can get more people on medicaid and public support. Why should a married couple both work their asses off to have a half way decent lifestyle if they see others who do nothing to earn their free healthcare, food stamps, housing vouchers, energy assistance, etc. while they are saddled with higher taxes, higher costs, get no assistance, and the companies they work for keep cutting back on benefits, raises, etc.
When did Obama raise taxes? I must have missed that in the reporting on the war on the upper middle class.
For starters:
http://cnsnews.com/news/article/obama-s-claim-he-did-not-raise-taxes-rej
Plus, his policies will undoubtedly raise the costs of energy, health insurance premiums (already have), etc. And, the states will be forced to increase taxes to pay for all the new people that will be on medicaid and the list goes on. Plus, everybody knows that any tax on business is passed along to the folk.
When?
When hasn’t he is the better question.
You seem to have missed a great deal.
