That’s not good enough, John. We want you do drastically cut spending. Deep, deep, deep significant cuts. Not symbolic cuts that don’t actually put a fraction of a dent in our national deficit.

First of all, I have very little doubt that Shelia Jackson Lee did not read the Health Care Bill. And not just because I doubt she knows how to read so good.
And, after reading his list, I gotta agree — and add that it applies to officials on both sides of the aisles equally:

Those ‘draconian’ budget cuts that Obama is threatening to veto? Yeah…not quite as draconian as he would have you believe (it’s almost like he doesn’t understand what that actually means). No…not draconian…rather budget cuts.
Boehner appropriately responded that it’s not his job or role to tell people what/how to think (that’s George Soros’ job, dontcha know?).
And the bottom line is that I like Christie. I like his blunt style. I like his in your face, this is the way it is attitude. It’s refreshing, and I think it’s honest.
So let’s play the Imagine If… game, boys and girls — Imagine if Comm. Price was white, a Republican, and the citizens he was damning to hell were black. Can you imagine the national outrage as the tapes of a white Councilman shouting, “All of you are black. Go to hell.”
Perhaps he can change his name and get a job teaching at a small community college. Perhaps teaching Career Suicide 101, or Anti-Women’s Studies.
