Police say some of the sexual assaults of an 11-year-old girl occurred at this abandoned trailer house in a part of Cleveland called "the Hood."
An 11-year old girl from Cleveland, Texas (not too far from my hometown of Conroe, TX in east Texas) was raped by at least 17 boys and men over the course of two days. That number might be as high as 28 males, whose ages ranging from another middle-school boy up to 28-years old.
Of course you have to be an idiot (in addition to being a vile piece of shit) to rape an 11-year old girl. You have to be even dumber than that to video and take pictures of it while it happened. But that’s exactly what did happen. And once the videos and cell phone images went viral, people started recognizing some of the rapists in the videos and pictures — to include some of the local high school’s star basketball players and the son of a local member of the Board of Education.
Almost as gut-turning as the crime itself is, this statement from James D. Evans III, an attorney who represents three of the defendants, makes me want to punch him in his pie hole: “This is not a case of a child who was enslaved or taken advantage of.”
Suggesting that is was consensual. Except of course an 11-year old can never legally consent to being raped by adults.
The story doesn’t mention the race of the victim (I assume she is Hispanic) or of the perpetrators, though I’ll bet you there is a common theme (or color) in the human excrement who raped this little girl…And yes, I do think it’s relevant.

I try to teach my children not to see color but see the people. As a mother myself if my child did this I would still live them and yes get them an attorney because no matter what their my child. These stories are gut wrenching with no solution in sight. Those poor women and children…The subject of the Congo and other places there has been forefront in my mind for years. I agree Sean that giving seems to do nothing and there are many false organizations out to just take money and could care less about the people, but I did sponsor a family there, a rape victim that had 4 children in the hopes of helping in some little way. A reputable organization that offers some small assistance. There is so much that needs to be done and the world stands by but as sad and horrifying as that situation over there presents itself to be, there seems to be no viable solution to help. This is a sad story BUT apparently this little girl was the neighborhood whore. What can she expect is going to happen ? Her parents let their 11 yr old daughter out with 19 year old men. Authorities have captured a 19-year-old California man they say is responsible, along with six others, for the gang rape of an 11-year-old girl inside a park bathroom.
Michael Sykes, a suspected gang member, was arrested Monday morning at a Moreno Valley home, police sources confirm to FoxNews.com.
Police allege that Sykes, along with six juvenile gang members, raped the child in the bathroom at Moreno Valley’s Victoriano Park between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. March 10, according to the Riverside Press-Enterprise.
The attack, which was on the south side of the city near Moreno Valley College, wasn’t made public until Sunday, and police have not released further details about the incident.
“As a father — even as a police officer — there are crimes that shock us. This is one of them,” Capt. John Anderson, chief of the Moreno Valley station, said.
Detectives told the newspaper that the girl was at a shopping center near the park when she was approached by an older girl, who lured her to the bathroom where the six boys and the 19-year-old were waiting.
The attack was in an area where gangs and crime aren’t a problem, Anderson said.
The six juveniles were arrested shortly after the rape and booked at Riverside County juvenile hall for investigation of sexual assault on a child. Sykes eluded authorities until his arrest Monday.
Authorities have so far not released the named of the teens because they are minors. Police sources, however, say the boys are all over 14 and could charged as adults.

I am disgusted about how the victim is being treated after what happened to her. Being a rape victim myself (a male one at that), I know what she is probably going through right now and hope like hell she gets proper counseling in order to recover from this horrible ordeal.
