Protester Arrested in Michigan Capitol Building After Assaulting Officers with Sharp Weapon

An angry Tea Partier was arrested inside the capitol building in Michigan after breaking into the building through a window. He was armed with a weapon, and assaulted an police officer. Most likely incited to violence by the eliminationist rhetoric of Sarah Palin.

Why didn’t you hear about this on the evening news, interrupting news of the imminent war with Libya and nuclear Armageddon in Japan? After spending thousands of man hours over the last two years trying to find one actual act of violence that they could pin on the Tea Party, why aren’t they trumpeting this triumphant moment?

Oh…that’s right. Because it wasn’t a Tea Partier storming the capitol to protest excessive spending by the Michigan Governor. It was an unhinged Liberal (is there any other kind?) union thug looking for someone to hurt because their not spending enough (on Union labor).

And that’s why you haven’t heard a peep about on the evening news.
