Today in Biased Media Headline Writing, we have the NY Slimes with this winner:
Ohio Lawmakers Pass Anti-Union Bill
The headline refers to the bill passed by the Ohio Legislature that would prohibit public-employee unions to bargain collectively. Much like the bill passed in Wisconsin.
Now, in a fair and balanced Media, the NY Times could have also written the following headline and spun this story thus:
Ohio Lawmakers Pass Pro-Taxpayer Bill
…and then wrote about how this legislation will save the tax payers of Ohio hundreds of millions of dollars while bringing public-sector employees’ salaries and benefits into line with their private-sector counterparts.
You’d almost think that the reporters and editors at media companies like the NY Slimes are not only pro-union activists, but actual union members themselves…
Wait…what? Oh, they are unionized, too? SHOCKING!
Public employees never should have been allowed to organize in the first place, as they will always collectively bargain against the citizens who pay their wages and for their benefits. Even their Messiah (not Obama, their first liberal Messiah, FDR) was opposed to public employees organizing.

yeah but in the case of wisconsin I believe it’s being held in purgatory. I want to say not one..but TWO Judges have ordered it to not be enacted on the grounds that it’s anti constitutional. To which I respond…”what the fuck you smokin Willis?”
