Not if he doesn’t produce some verifiable and valid proof of being a natural born US Citizen (which, at this point in his life, he has yet to do).

Via the Arizona Republic:

The Arizona Legislature has become the first in the nation to pass a measure requiring presidential candidates to provide proof of citizenship in order to get on the state’s ballot.

House Bill 2177 got final approval Thursday night from the House. It will be transmitted to Gov. Jan Brewer, who will then have five days to sign it, veto it or do nothing and allow it to become law.

If Brewer chooses to veto the bill, Republican lawmakers could attempt an override vote. The bill would become law if two-thirds of legislators supported the override.

Since Obama has absolutely zero intentions of ever willingly disclosing his long form birth certificate, I anticipate another Federal lawsuit from Eric Holder in 3…2…1…

When of course every other candidate running will simply comply…which would be the simple thing to do. Instead he’ll spend millions more (this time of our money) to hide the truth.

  1. Given that the law allows several other options besides the long-form birth certificate, it should not be difficult for him to produce the document that lists shows him to be illegitimate, listed as a Muslim, or some other trivially scandalous deviation from his biographical narrative.

    • Let’s correct that sentence — “it should not be difficult for him NOT to produce the document that lists shows him to be illegitimate, listed as a Muslim, or some other trivially scandalous deviation from his biographical narrative.”

  2. Yeah…I’m firmly in the “believe he was born in Hawaii, but believe he’s still hiding something nefarious” camp.
