White House: Obama regrets vote against raising debt limit.

The White House said Monday that President Barack Obama regrets his vote as a senator in 2006 against raising the debt limit — the same kind of increase he’s now pressuring Congress to approve.

Obama “thinks it was a mistake,” presidential spokesman Jay Carney told reporters. “He realizes now that raising the debt ceiling is so important to the health of this economy and the global economy that it is not a vote that, even when you are protesting an administration’s policies, you can play around with.”

Well…why would this surprise anybody? Obama always does what is most beneficial to Obama at any given moment, with no regard for prior or future actions. He only regrets that action now because it hurts him to be opposed to raising the debt limit. Back then? It was politically beneficial to Obama to oppose it.

The man is a coward, a liar, and an empty suit.

If you voted for him the first time around you were either:

  1. naive
  2. an idiot
  3. black
  4. consumed with white guilt (see #2)

If you vote for him again, you’re just an idiot (or a socialist, too, who loves the direction [down] that Obama is dragging this country).
