The Religion of Perpetual Outrage™ is once again…well OUTRAGED! over something completely mundane. This time it’s a picture of two fashion show hosts in front of the al-Aqsa Mosque:

Trinny & Susannah in front of mosque

The only thing offensive in this picture is that golden dome...

Via YNetNews:

Newspaper ads for the “Trinny & Susannah Do Israel” show have sparked a row among Muslims, as they show the two British fashion advisors dressed in immodest clothing against the backdrop of the al-Aqsa Mosque and Western Wall.

Channel 10 apologized for the incident on Wednesday evening and promised to change the ads immediately.

The Islamic Movement’s al-Aqsa institution association slammed Channel 10 for publishing a picture of the two women wearing strapless dresses against the backdrop of the mosque.

Frankly, I’m surprised that the Imams haven’t used this as the Reason of the Week to Kill Infidels™ on their day of outrage.

  1. Offended in perpetuity, they are.

    From TROP:

If we should respect the Quran because not doing so causes Muslims to get angry and kill, then here are the other things we should stop doing:

Educating women. Selling alcohol. Pre-marital sex. Sharing a
non-Muslim religious faith. Democracy. Disaster relief. Sporting
events. Allowing women to dress as they please. Being gay. Being Hindu. Being Christian. Being Jewish. Being Buddhist. Being Sikh. Being Ahmadi. Being Sufi. Going to the wrong mosque…

I’m certain some things are missing from the list, but you get the idea.

  2. Gee — I wonder what they would do if someone made a graphic of two pigs mating in front of the mosque?

  3. 2 thoughts. one. the lady on the left in blue ain’t all that and a bag of chips and two…I like the two pigs mating pic myself.
