Hell, I don’t want to be on an airplane with robed Imams either. So I don’t blame these pilots for refusing to fly with them on their airplanes. Because, as the old saying goes, while not all Muslims are terrorists (they’re mostly just terrorist sympathizers), just about all terrorists are Muslims.
Two Muslim religious leaders were asked to leave a commercial airliner in Memphis – and were told it was because the pilot refused to fly with them aboard.
Masudur Rahman and another imam had already been allowed to board their Delta Connection flight from Memphis, Tennessee, to Charlotte, North Carolina before they were asked to get off the plane.
It’s racism and bias because of our religion and appearance and because of misinformation about our religion.’ Mr Rahman said. ‘If they understood Islam, they wouldn’t do this.’
Uh, actually, Masudur, it’s precisely because we do understand Islam that we take steps like this.
Islam and Muslims are the sole reason that flying has become such a pain in the ass for the rest of the world — so if a couple of Imams are inconvenienced at an airport? Good.
Look for CAIR to start freaking-the-hell-out in 3…2…1…

There should not be any Imams in Memphis, Tennessee or Charlotte, North Carolina. I don’t recall where I first read the proposal, but I would do this in a heartbeat if I had the $$- start an “all pork” airlines, with seats covered in pigskin and fresh pork products served en route. I guarantee it would be a money maker.
I am amazed the pilots had the testicular fortitude to refuse to fly the Muslims, and even more amazed that the airline backed them up, rather than firing them.

Pilot says, pilot goes. The aircrew have authority on the flight – if there is any reason why the pilot does not feel comfortable taking off with certain persons on board his/her aircraft, he/she can demand those persons to disembark. Racism, stereotyping, you call it what you want, but the pilot’s decision is the pilot’s, and I am glad the company has stood with the law instead of siding with a particular religion.
