Stories like this one make me want to mule kick illegal immigration and sanctuary city proponents right in their gaping pie holes.
Prosecutors on Wednesday said the man accused of killing a Houston police officer last weekend is an admitted gang member and an illegal immigrant from Mexico who twice was deported.
Assistant Harris County District Attorney Catherine Evans said Johoan Rodriguez, 26, is a member of Mara Salvatrucha, a notorious international street gang from El Salvador. She said he is a Mexican citizen.
“He’s an admitted member of MS-13,” Evans told visiting state District Judge Mike Anderson.
Rodriguez is accused of driving through a police barricade on the 610 North Loop freeway and striking HPD Officer Kevin Will, who was investigating an accident Sunday.
Rodriguez was arraigned Wednesday on charges of intoxication manslaughter, evading arrest and drug possession. His mother, stepfather and other family members attended the hearing but did not comment.
Which means that the last six HPD officers killed in Houston were killed by illegal immigrants. How many more cops and innocent citizens have to be killed by illegal immigrants before we’ve had enough? Oh, and by the way, Officer Wills leaves behind two young children and a wife who’s six months pregnant. Johnson has this advice.
This illegal piece of shit has been allowed to live here in the United States, getting to go to our schools (Sam Houston High School) since he was 6 years old. Because cities like Houston and their sanctuary city policies make it easy for illegal immigrants — entire families and neighborhoods filled with ‘em — to live, work, and go to school without fear of arrest or deportation.
Why do we need a border fence that rivals the one between Israel and Palestine? This:
FOX 26 News obtained federal court recorders dating back to 2005. They show Rodriguez was deported once but claimed he was from Houston and even had a Texas drivers license. He eventually pleaded guilty to entering the country illegally and paid a $10 fine. It’s not clear if he was once again deported.
A $10 fine. Yeah…huge deterrent. Huge!
According to the Houston Chronicle article, “his mother, stepfather and other family members attended the hearing but did not comment.” What are the chances that most or all of those family members sitting in that courtroom to support their cop-killing son/brother/cousin are also illegal immigrants? And yet they’ll be allowed to freely waltz in and out of the courtroom and back to their illegal life in Houston.
These are the people that Obama wants to give blanket amnesty to.
If you’re not sufficiently outraged over this, then you might be a Liberal.
Justice Delayed
And this is what drives me most crazy about the slow grind of justice in Texas. His crime was capital murder, and hopefully he will be sentenced to death for his crime.
There is no defense for his crime, there is no denying or doubting his guilt. There are no doubts that he was driving the car that intentionally killed a Houston Police Officer. The trial should take half a day. The jury should need less than 15 minutes to find him guilty as charged and less than 5 minutes to sentence him to death. At which point he should be dragged outside of the courthouse and hanged from the nearest tree until he is dead.
But instead he will sit on Texas’ death row for 14-15 years (or more), continuing to be a tax burden on the legal citizens of Texas (like he has been for his entire life). Getting a cot and three hots everyday while the memory of the slain officers diminishes.

Infuriating…I hate that we waste so much time on filthy gang members like this too…but if it has to be the case…he BETTER get death…anything less is an insult to our officers…
He’s charged with manslaughter – not first degree capital murder.
I know…just wishful thinking for an illegal cop killer like him…
Just the fact you belong to a fucking gang like ms-13 should get ya 20 years.
Manslaughter? Really? The fucking piece of shit killed a police officer while committing another felony. How is that not capital murder? I say execute the piece of shit anyway.
Exactly…
Manslaughter charges allow them to keep this POS in jail (that plus the flight risk). For someone who has illegally entered this country multiple times, you can bet he wishes he could leave this country now!
Just remember Manslaughter can always be upgraded to Capital Murder!
Manslaughter is not first degree murder.
Bye Bye “poof” boy….you obviously don’t what you are talking about.
Robbie or No2…time for the juvenile to “poof”.
I’m not “poof” boy. Maybe, you are since projection is one of the troll’s tactics.
And I do know what I am talking about. You are behaving like a juvenile – not me.
Whatever….I have been posting on this blog for several years now…if I am a troll, Robbie would have figured that out a long time ago. And if I am a troll, my posts would keep disappearing and got “poof”.
At least I have enough balls to not post as “anonymous”. Care to post a name or are you afraid to post in the open because your IP always gives you away.
So…why have you suddenly started attacking me…you must have gotten tired of No2 flaming your butt all the time. Think I make an easier target?
If your not “poof” boy, then end it here and now. I am willing to do so.
But I am guessing you really are “poof” boy and you will have to post some silly comment, something that features name calling, and some little diddy to make you sound smart…something like “manslaughter is not first degree murder”. Duh!
BBB, not the *poofster*
To both of you...CHECK FIRE! CHECK FIRE! FRIENDLIES!
If the DA asks for Manslaughter, that is what the jury will deliberate on, if he doesn’t think he has a good chance at winning a Capital case.
No2…gladly checking fire…but it is kind of hard to know with “anonymous”. One night it is him, the next night it is not…hard to tell friend from foe!
S’okay.
Let there be coolness.
Wasn’t there legislation proposed to eliminate sanctuary cities in Texas?
To answer my own question, yes there was, HB12. It died and is now back as HB9 in the special session which began today.
You have an update on that HB9?
No, no action yet, that I can find.
Here’s something

My WOT add-on put up a huge “warning” when I clicked on that link, as being untrustworthy.
Really? Odd. It’s clean to me. And I have mine heavily guarded but I didn’t see anything to be afraid of…But here..I’ll do this…

A little long and there was more but you get the idea. It reads from the bottom up obviously.
L.A. Guy, that is information on the regular session HB 9. The special session HB 9 was originally HB 12 in regular session, which ended on 30 May.
Gov. Perry adds immigration issues to special session.
Hey you’re preaching to the choir Robbie. I live in Houston remember. I’m also the one that has said repeatedly, that membership in a gang should carry an automatic death sentence. No matter WHAT the charge against you. Every gang member in prison should be immediately executed. Use a bullet or a rope..I don’t care which. You’ll immediately make a nice size hole in the prison population which will mean less money spent. Bury the fuckers in an unmarked mass grave.
I’ll go the cost of the rope and/or bullets.
Being from Houston myself, I couldn’t agree more Sean…
I have said it before…..put the Astrodome to use. Public executions, we sell tickets and have the wheel of death. Whatever form of execution comes up, that is your debt to society. What fun it could be….hanging, shooting, burning, off with the head, you name it. We could reduce our deficit and eliminate some of these shit stains at the same time.
GOD BLESS TEXAS!!!
I just finished watching the finale to spartacus gods of the arena again…executions in the arena…awesome………………..I think you have a great idea!
I know how to tie a hangman’s noose and calculate drop lengths. Of course, just drop them 10 feet or more and rip their friggin’ heads off, then catapult their rotting carcasses across the Rio Grande.
He looks like someone smacked him upside the forehead with a 2×4…..maybe a nice big shovel.
I like shovels.
Maybe he’ll mouth-off while in the general population in jail and someone will finish him.
I hate to see that when a drunk driver kills a police officer the one detail pointed it out is illegal immigrant, people we have also heard of cases were a US citizen drives while drunk…and kill…I know this is devastating story, it upset also to see how
Much prejudice still exist…
And if this criminal hadn’t entered this country illegally, there would be one less dead police officer. It’s amazing how stupid some people are…
This comments are stupid, DMac, how do say profane language and God in same sentence, we are all created equal! Being from a different country does not devalue the person, and if ya want to get super technical, then we are all immigrants!!!! No one is immune to mistakes, this guy Rodriguez will
Pay for what he did, so will all of us who discriminate individuals! And do wrong! Which includes all of those talking smack about immigrants!
Oh, shut up. We are here legally. Rodriguez was not. Illegally entering a country is not a mistake, you fool. It is a crime. He has previously been deported twice. But you call it a mistake? And no, we are not all created illegal. Some are criminals and murderers, e.g., Rodriguez. Others, are stupid, e.g., you.
And no, we are not all created
illegalequal.You are a fool and a tool.
Rather than address all of the idiocy in your barely literate comment, I will correct you on one thing only.
This discussion is about a repeat offender, a banger in a criminal gang, that killed a police officer.
No one ever mentioned immigrants until you showed up, just an ILLEGAL immigrant.
ILLEGAL, in this function an adjective, from Medieval Latin:illegalis-forbidden by law or statute.
Your inability to grasp such a simple concept shows you are ill equipped to have an intelligent discussion on this matter.
BOOYAH! Someones ass hurts! I love it when you do that No2. Give a child a correcting swat on their ass and send em on their way!
I despise ill mannered children that interrupt adult discussions.
LMFAO!!
Deported twice and back again to commit murder. Secure borders – no way.
Amen to that…
