I didn’t watch Obama’s press conference campaign speech this afternoon because…well, I’m one of those diminishing few Americans who still has a job and can’t sit around all afternoon watching television while I’m waiting on my welfare checks to be delivered.

Though, I guess there are some underemployed bloggers out there who did have the luxury torture of watching today. Bill Jacobson at Legal Insurrection was one of them:

I watched Obama’s press conference today, and he is a wonder to behold.  He is a relentless demagogue who plays Americans against Americans and sets up false choices as part of a class warfare agenda.

Apparently it’s no longer just ATM machines that are destroying America; today’s scape goat for Obama’s failed policies (and continued ratings free fall) is…corporate jets.

Sigh.

Isn’t Air Force One pretty much the world’s largest and most expensive corporate jet? And doesn’t the Obama family pretty much use it like a typical slope-headed fly-over-country family use their mini-van?

But the bottom line is that Bill is right — Obama has consistently and intentionally been engaged in class warfare, pitting one group of Americans (let’s call them makers) against another group (let’s call them takers).

Looks like a bunch of other bloggers over at Memeorandum got to watch it, too.

_____________

UPDATE: The Heritage Foundation reminds us that Obama was for corporate jet tax breaks before he was against them:

But the corporate jet tax break to which Obama was referring – called “accelerated depreciation,” and a popular Democratic foil of late – was created by his own stimulus package.

  1. Class warfare, racial warfare, and calling those that oppose anything he says or does his enemies. Hussein has proven himself to be the great divider. The exact polar opposite of what Reagan was. Hope he chokes on Michelles cock.

    • Yes…If I have to hear ONE MORE TIME, that “this mess we are in didn’t happen over night and can’t be fixed overnight….WHEN Reagan had 12,000,000 jobs created by the end of his FIRST term…I’m gunna hurl…

  2. This quote made me snort: “Call me naive,” Obama said, “but my expectation is leaders are going to lead.” If he’s not the leader, then is he just the head nigga in charge?

That’s all he has ever done, from his community rabble rousing days, and he will most likely continue to do so after he is finally removed from office.
He is as worthless a POS that the earth has ever been cursed with.

    • Any doubt that when he’d done pretending to be President of the United States that his next gig will be Secretary-General of the UN?

      • Oh, I’m sure that is what he would like and is probably what he has been auditioning for since he first started bowing, scraping and kowtowing on the world stage to every monarch and potentate he could find.
His main competition will come from the two Clintoons, who also covet that office.

        • I think he’s better suited as a Wal-Mart greeter….in Kenya

        • LOL, but that “May I help you smock” would be a total contradiction in terms! LOL. The smock should read…”Don’t ask me for help, just waiting to go play golf…” hahaha!

        • I think you’re both wrong — Obama doesn’t even know what a Wal-Mart is….

        • If he ever did find out what a Walmart is and got a job as a greeter, he would be the only one in any of their stores who would be reading a teleprompter for the words “Welcome To Walmart”…each and every time, while wearing a smock that says “present.”

        • LMAO!!! :-D

      • I expect he’ll take a page from The Goracle’s playbook and go the freelance route. Most likely choose a different cause from what Algore picked, though. Probably something to do with “Race Relations in America” or some other such tripe (basically the same class warfare he’s always been engaged in).

I can totally see him giving a couple speeches a year, at a million dollars a pop, for the rest of his life.
