The Liberal main stream media hacks — most notably the Washington Post and the NY Times, have spent countless man hours and lines of ink trying to destroy Sarah Palin. Even after she became a private citizen, and even though she is not a candidate for any office.

Their latest embarrassing debacle had them sending hordes of “reporters” to load the 275 lbs of paper into vehicles so they could dig through them. All in the hopes of finding some dirty scandal or smoking gun with which they could use to continue their totally biased and unprofessional witch hunt.

Sarah and Trig Palin

Mother's love: Sarah Palin holds her son Trig, who has Down's Syndrome, at the Republican National Convention during her run for vice president

If only the Times and Post could have expended even a 1/1000 this effort trying to find out more about our Obama (during his campaign, and since becoming President).

But they didn’t. Instead, they continue trying to dig up dirt on Palin while covering and spinning for the worst President in this country’s history.

But, as this story from the non-Obama infatuated British press notes: Sarah Palin email frenzy backfires on her media antagonists

One can only assume that the Left-leaning editors who dispatched teams of reporters to remote Juneau, the Alaskan capital, to pore over the emails in the hope of digging up a scandal are now viewing the result as a rather poor return on their considerable investment.

If anything, Mrs Palin seems likely to emerge from the scrutiny of the 24,000 pages, contained in six boxes and weighing 275 pounds, with her reputation considerably enhanced. As a blogger at Powerline noted, the whole saga might come to be viewed as “an embarrassment for legacy media”.

The emails I’ve seen so far only reinforce the Sarah Palin that Conservative America fell in love with back in 2008: a strong woman of remarkable moral conviction and love for her family and country.

Like this story about the touching letter she wrote to her yet-to-be-born son with Downs Syndrome, Trig:

‘A Down’s Syndrome baby will expand your world’: How Sarah Palin imagined God talking to her in extraordinary and touching letter about her unborn son

The poignant message to family and friends, included in 25,000 pages of her private emails made public on Friday, may alter the way the former Governor of Alaska is viewed by the American public.

In April 2008, two weeks before Trig was born with Down’s Syndrome, Mrs Palin sent the email to her friends and family from her official government account.

In the touching message, Mrs Palin writes from the voice of God, as ‘Trig’s creator, your heavenly father’.

Make sure you go read the entire thing.

To the reporters and editors at the Times and the Post who dug through these emails in an embarrassing spectacle, trying to continue their assault on this private citizen and her family: I hope you all die broke, alone, and loveless; you are vile, horrible people.

  1. Again, one has to go over the pond to read the real story behind the emails — Gov. Palin had numerous death threats against her after Sen. McCain picked her as his running mate.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/sarah-palin/8569680/Sarah-Palin-emails-Enemies-sent-a-series-of-death-threats.html

The justification behind the FOI request is that Palin was unknown at the time, that she had no real political career to vet out. Of course, that’s the punishment you get when being a WAR — woman and Republican. Never mind the braindead WaPo, NYT, et al, never bothered to vet out the “career” of Obama, never bothered to enlist a citizens army to pore through his transcripts, his writings, or his theses.

When I think of this fishing expedition undertaken by WaPo and NYT (that turned up nothing but an empty book, an anchor and a license plate), I’m reminded of the Welch-McCarthy exchange in 1954:

“You’ve done enough. Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?”

May the Washington Post and New York Times die a slow, painful death.

    • It’s because they fear her more than any other GOP candidate or potential candidate. She first terrified them in ’08 when she was chosen as a VP candidate they knew nothing about and after her fantastic GOP convention speech they knew they had to do everything they could to make her either go away or make her negatives so high no one would consider her as a future candidate.
For this wonderful lady that they have tried to define as a “quitter” and as “stupid” she sure seems to beat them at every turn, while ignoring them and speaking directly to the American people.

    • Actually, I would like the Washington Post & New York Times to die quickly! We need to move on & fix our problems. They get in the way.

  2. So far, with more emails to read, the looney lefturds have nothing. It is even worse than that, they and their ilk are being exposed for the world to see as unhinged ideologues with no sense of propriety or proportion.
Take this post by some radical lefturd website.
Sarah Palin Uses Email Dump To Release Critics Personal Information:

Some very ugly things are going to come out of these emails and not against Sarah Palin. Frankly I’m very disturbed by her legal team’s choices in what I’m reading. Sarah Palin and her legal team spent two and half years combing these emails for pages they wanted to withhold and for redactions to protect the privacy of some people. But you want to know whose information they left in?

Any person who wrote to criticize the Governor has their email and phone number out for the Palin cult to attack. Sarah Palin once again used a seeming “attack” on her (aka, a request for transparency) as an opportunity to turn the guns of her internet vigilantes on her detractors. This is an outrageous compromising of those citizen’s privacy and safety.

Yes, they are private citizens, not public officials.

Read the entire rant if you want, it is a lib-logic screed.
However, these nutjobs were either not paying attention or intentionally failed to report that:

The records were reviewed by the Alaska Office of Law, the office of Gov. Sean Parnell and a lawyer representing Palin. The state received no requests from Palin’s lawyer to redact or withhold any documents.

Which the ABC News blog did report.

The lefturds are at war with Palin, but in attempting this battle of wits, they are unarmed and she has a belt fed weapon…good common sense.
The lefturds are actually serving her well without intending to. They are the ones who are keeping her on the front page and in the lead story on the news, she is just going along minding her own. Their many fails are raising her potential as a candidate for 2012 and there are more sad times for them to come.
The movie about Super Sarah, “The Undefeated” will be released in Iowa on either the 28th or 29th of June. Then, her movie will be fully released at AMC theaters across the country on 15 July. For even more news on Palin, the movie and the blundering libturd email FUBAR, visit Conservatives4Palin.
Between the failed actions of the GOP establishment, the D.C. establishment and the libturds, they are helping create a scenario they fear more than insolvency.

  3. Here’s another hilarious loonie left article about the emails: http://goo.gl/hWHr8

  4. “private citizen”.
    Heh.
    Good one.

  5. It’s an FOIA request. When you send an email or letter to someone, the letter belongs to the sendee, which in this case is the State of Alaska. There is no privacy interest. If that information was deleted, the usual suspects would be whining about it, too.

  6. Ahhhh the Massively Stupid Media…The Stupid…it BUURRRNNNNS. Which begs the question of why haven’t they gone down in flames..literally.

  7. Another example of poetic justice.
The morons spend that much money and that many man hours only to come up empty handed.

Love the photo of Sarah changing shoes on the steps of Air Force One.

  8. I saved that Air Force One photo…..I wouldn’t mind seeing that materialize for real…..
