I don’t think the campaign to turn London into a Sharia-loving Islamic city is quite over yet — and, in fact, seems to be going quite well.

Via the UK’s Telegraph:

Police have been accused of “covering up” a campaign of abuse, threats and violence aimed at “Islamicising” an area of London.

Victims say that officers in the borough of Tower Hamlets have ignored or downplayed outbreaks of hate crime, and suppressed evidence implicating Muslims in them, because they fear being accused of racism.

The claims come as four Tower Hamlets Muslims were jailed for at least 19 years for attacking a local white teacher who gave religious studies lessons to Muslim girls.

The Sunday Telegraph has uncovered more than a dozen other cases in Tower Hamlets where both Muslims and non-Muslims have been threatened or beaten for behaviour deemed to breach fundamentalist “Islamic norms.”

One victim, Mohammed Monzur Rahman, said he was left partially blind and with a dislocated shoulder after being attacked by a mob in Cannon Street Road, Shadwell, for smoking during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan last year.

“Two guys stopped me in the street and asked me why I was smoking,” he said. “I just carried on, and before I knew another dozen guys came and jumped me. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in hospital.”

  1. I was reading comments on the possible affect of 2012 and found this one quite interesting…

My husband and I are English. We chose to leave England 2 years ago and now live, semi self sufficient, in rural Eastern Europe. We left for many reasons, one of the major ones being the destruction of the normal way of life in England. Social order is breaking down, politicians of all parties are utterly corrupt, and Islam is being welcomed by local politicians into urban areas. I doubt it is well known outside London that there are already small areas proclaiming Shariah Law; Walthamstow, London E17 is one of them and the London Borough of Tower Hamlets is another. It is not reported in the mainstream media; the newspapers are complicit in these changes. White women in normal dress are spat at and harrassed. We did not live in one of those areas but even in our “nice” area I became afraid to go to the shops around the time school was over; a grown woman, I became afraid of gangs of children as young as 12. Teenagers stabbing each other to death has become so commonplace it is relegated to minor news. Anyone trying even to discuss these matters, let alone change them, is publicly branded a racist and vilified. I don’t give the year 2012 any significance, but I do think we are on the verge of seeing everything we’ve taken as normal being swept away, and that includes paper money.

The truth is frightening isn’t it?
