Say goodbye to public employee unions in Wisconsin. To which all I can say is, good for them! Via Powerline:
Today the Wisconsin Supreme Court overturned a decision by a liberal activist judge in Dane County that would have invalidated the law, passed by Wisconsin’s legislature earlier this year, that redefined some public employees’ collective bargaining rights. The result was not unexpected, as Judge Sumi’s decision flew in the face of established Wisconsin law to the effect that courts cannot enjoin the publication of a bill enacted by the legislature. The Supreme Court characterized Judge Sumi’s usurpation harshly.
The decision was 4-3.Which means that the Justice Prosser reelection was huge. HUGH! Despite the unionistas and leftwing agitators pulling out every dirty trick in the books, they simply couldn’t steal this election, which they had deemed a referendum on Gov. Walker.
Simply put, public employee unions should be illegal and prohibited by law in every single city and state in this country.
Legal Insurrection adds:
This is a sweeping victory for Republicans and Gov. Scott Walker. (And for my prior legal anaylsis, but that’s another matter. I’ll be spiking the football, for sure.)
This also is a vindication for the legal strategy of not backing down to the unjust, unwise, uncalled-for, unlawful rulings of Judge Sumi, who engaged in clearly unsound legal reasoning which — whether intended or not — took on the appearance of political posturing.

Gladly!

Oh how they were counting on their Kloppinghorse sitting on that bench.
Obama…….You’re next!!
…it’s expunged from memory altogether as being improperly entertained from the start, which means there is no remand to the lower court to try again. The higher court has said “Not only did you get this wrong, you got it so wrong we don’t trust you with another bite at the apple, so we’re directing your decision from here. It’s over. Done. Finished. Kaput.” –Ace/AOSHQ
We must fiercely go after Judge Sumi…start sending messages to all these activist judges…
