What part of "shall not infringe" don't you understand?
Great. Obama and his Attorney General, Eric Holder, were just busted in one of the most egregious and criminal scandals in American history (wait…what? You haven’t heard about Operation Gunrunner or Operation Fast & Furious on your local news or via the MSM?).
The Obama Administration and the MSM (yeah…I know…redundancy) had a narrative that the majority of guns being used by Mexican drug cartels were coming south across the border from the United States. Only problem was — it wasn’t true. So, in order to make it true, Holder directed the ATF to hand out guns to the Mexican cartels and drug gangs.
Why would they do this?
So they can claim a crisis exists (where one doesn’t) and then rush in with emergency measures to stem the flow of guns to Mexico. By unveiling tougher new gun laws in the United States. Like the ones he loved so much in Chicago (and you can see how well limiting the ability of law abiding citizens to own and bare guns has worked out there…).

WASHINGTON — Half a year after the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.), the Obama administration is set to release a series of reforms to the current gun law, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said on Thursday.
The reforms, which are being crafted by the Department of Justice, come after a series of meetings with relevant stakeholders in the Second Amendment debate. But in a nod to the difficulties of getting legislation through a Republican-run House of Representatives, only executive orders or administrative actions — and not an actual bill — are expected to be handed to Congress.
Administration officials were coy on the specifics, from the reforms the Department of Justice would recommend or when it would actually make those recommendations.
Of course they were…because they don’t have any specifics yet. Just a broad dream of disarming law-abiding citizens.
Unless of course this is part of Obama’s plan to boost the economy, because — just like his election did in 2008 — this news is sure to spurn a whole new wave of gun and ammunition sales. I was waiting to buy that new little Ruger SR9c that I’ve had my eye on, but I might just have to go out and get it this weekend.
As for Obama and Holder? I just have three words for ‘em: Cold. Dead. Hands.

So we don’t know what the administration is planning, and Congress won’t get to weigh in. Both are recurring themes with this administration, especially since the mid-terms took the House out of Democrat hands. We’ll get yet another dictatorial move by an administration that pushed Gunwalker, one of the most irresponsible gambits any administration has ever tried, and is run from top to bottom by far left ideologues.
January 2013 can’t come fast enough. And, faster please.
Just one more reason to support Gov. Rick Perry for President — I’ve shot guns with the man. Hell, I’ve shot his gun. I have zero doubt that any bullshit anti-second amendment crap passed by Obama and Dingy Reid will be overturned by President Perry.

I can’t speak for the NRA, but this administration’s history of unconstitutional overreach by way of executive orders – Libya being only the most recent example – does not inspire confidence. This gang of left wing lawyers shows either monumental ignorance of fundamental constitutional restraints or utter contempt for the same. Evidently they assumed the inauguration was actually a coronation.

As more and more information is coming out on Fast and Furious, and now Tampa, due to AFT agents ratting out the administration, this grab has to be done quickly and as an end run around Congress. Look for those unknown “specifics” to go after ammuntion first. Without ammunition, a gun is nothing more than a big paperweight.

Okay, then we have the following video from 24 Mar 09, broadcast on C-Span, of the announcement of the launch of “Fast And Furious.”
To recap, we have over $53 million in funds directed to this operation, which was funded in part by the Stimulus Bill, a video announcement of the program and the criminal Øbummer denying he knew about it.
Now his plans are unraveling, he can’t push any anti-gun legislation through Congress and is left to attempt administrative and executive orders to pursue his goals.
In the meanwhile, Rep. Allen West has called for a special prosecutor to investigate AG Holder and goes even further:
This is NOT going away and will only get worse as this criminal administration circles the wagons.

I don’t think Issa is going to let this go. And this is going to lead all the way to the top. Watergate? Iran/Contra? Chump change to Fast and Furious. The first to fall on his sword will be Eric Holder. But you have to wonder if he will go silently into the night as his career is ruined and he faces possible prosecution for illegal transfers of weapons that violated another nation’s sovreignty.

Yes, MS-13 began in El Salvador, but it has morphed into almost every Central/South American nation on the map. Hell, MS-13 now controls parts of California.
And yes, Obama supported the legally ousted Zelaya of Honduras, which was odd considering that Honduras ousted the guy legally according to the Honduran constitution. Obama even went so far as to stop foreign aid to tiny Honduras, a country with rampant poverty, that we had traditionally helped for generations. Obama told Honduras that if they (their Congress) did not reinstate Zelaya, he would not give them one damn dime. Honduras, tiny Honduras, stood their ground. The mouse that roared beat the hell out of the cat.
Now, we know that Obama doesn’t do anything without a reason. Could it be that there was a [silent] agreement between the Obama administration and Zelaya to walk guns through Honduras on their way to Mexico and when Zelaya boarded the plane for Venezuela, that deal was dead? My guess is yes, and Zelaya was probably on our government payroll at the time.
This story goes much deeper than just walking guns across the Mexican border. It goes to the very heart of a dishonest administration that thinks the means (Fast and Furious) justifies the end (removal of weapons from law abiding citizens). Remember, it wasn’t the Watergate break in that took down a sitting president, it was the corruption behind the break in.
BTW, I did a little date checking. Your video of the announcement of F & F (although it was not called that) was in March, 2009. Zelaya was ousted in June of the same year. It will be interesting to see when the Tampa plan was put into place.
Yes, ms-13 is everywhere, but I think the ATF was using Honduras as a shipping point because of their location and perhaps because of either a complicit Zelaya or a government in turmoil due to a constitutional crisis.
This criminal administration can’t bury all of this, just when they think they have tamped down one whistle blower another pops up. I would be willing to bet some in the Tampa office have stored/retrieved documents to cover their asses if this all goes side ways, or maybe even an honest agent that wants to see justice.

I wrote several times on the Honduras crisis and followed La Gringa’s Blogicito every day and still do, on occasion. I don’t think she liked my nic, but I emailed her last night about this incident and encourage others to do so. Perhaps there is info at the Honduras end that could shed light on this crime.
We all know that Obama is the single most important person on this planet and he’ll throw ANYONE under the bus to make himself look good and most importantly, remain in power.
As for Holder…..he may already have been paid off, (from the ‘stimulus money’) to be a fall guy and simply disappears to a sanctuary country.

Reading an article in Politico yesterday, it looks like “they” are going to make the ATF the fall guys for Fast and Furious. Holder or Justice not even implicated in article.
I just hope Issa doesn’t relent.
