Pelosi: Republicans Aren’t Interested In Deficit Reduction, They Are Interested In Destroying Government
Ok…not entirely agree with her, and what I do agree with what she said is probably not what she meant.
Of course, the current elected GOP body doesn’t care about reducing the deficit. On that Nancy and I agree. They’re complete capitulation to the Democrats and Obama during the debt ceiling debate proves that. Sure, they don’t want to borrow and spend with the same over-the-top reckless abandon as the Democrats…but they’re still not serious about actually reducing our deficit. Why should they be? It’s not like they have to pay it back…
As to the second part of her statement, that Republicans are interested in destroying government….if only! Now the Tea Party and solid constitutionally-limited government folks like me? You bet your ass we’re interested in destroying our current government. Which is broken and corrupt beyond all repair at this point. The only way to get back to a form of government that is bound by and adheres to our Constitution is to demolish the one that was ravished by the crooks, cheats, liars, and perverts who now fancy themselves our political betters.
Madam Botox says their “interested in destroying government” like it’s a bad thing…
