Barack Obama had Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen fly to Afghanistan this weekend to tell the troops serving there that their families may not get paid if a debt agreement is not reached. Admiral Mullen was meeting with US troops serving in southern Afghanistan.
How is it that there is not enough money for our troops and their families, but there is no mention of Obama and members of Congress not getting paid?
Obama is a coward and, worse, perhaps the most reviled Commander in Chief in our nation’s history If Obama is counting on the US Military to stand between him and the crowds of pitchfork and torch wielding citizens when TSHTF, he’s going to be in for an unfortunate surprise.
The threats of not paying our military and not sending out Social Security checks (despite Democrats repeated insistence that SS is doing just fine, and there is no threat of there being more payouts than there is money in the trust fund) is nothing more than a bluff and a scare tactic. Using our Soldiers as political fodder is one of the most despicable acts perpetrated by a man who has perpetrated a long string of despicable acts.
But Obama clearly despises not just the mission of our US Military, but the men and women who serve as well. They are a reminder to Obama of what a pathetic, cowardly man that he is; a man who could never measure up to the standards of courage, integrity, patriotism, and honor that our men and women in the Soldier are held to.
Never before has a President deserved to be called Commander in Chief less than Obama.

Prior to sending Mullen to Afghanistan to imploy Obama’s scare tactics, just 6 days ago, on July 25th, Obama called a meeting with the leading veteran’s groups at the White House. Obama informed those vet group leaders that he could not guarantee that disability checks would be sent out if there was no raising of the debt ceiling and urged them to tell their members to call their Congressmen and demand the debt ceiling be raised.
Meanwhile, 34 American soldiers gave their lives in combat in July. Funny, you will have a hard time finding any reports on those deaths. It seems that now we have a Community Organizer in Chief and not a Commander in Chief, the media is no longer interested in reporting on, and taking picutres of, flag draped coffins returning to Dover.
Using our military as political fodder is less than disgusting. It should be illegal. Unfortunately, we are in the reign of Saul Alinsky where any tactic is legitimate.
We need to inform all our veterans groups that Obama is using them to drive our nation into even further debt. He doesn’t care for them, but even if they are life-long Democrats, their loyalties should be with their brothers, not some Chicago crook who managed to use them during his last campaign to win the election.

By all means lets send more people over seas to die in wars that are meaningless. Both Afghanistan and Iraq are going to be left no better than before we went in. The crazy islamic element is going to take over the moment we leave and for the average people of those countries its back to conditions as bad or worse than before we went in. But the ignorant people who mostly make up the lower ranks of the military have no clue. They were raised in ghettos and trailer parks and for whatever reason continue supporting the plutocrats in New York. Well the reasons are easy to see, Wall Street purchased evangelical Christianity in the late 1970s and they use it as a tool to lead around the poor religious people of America. Its still happening and no reason for it to stop anytime soon.
