Obama is such a transparent political hack. Everything about him is about HIM and his tremendous ego. Everything he does has to be by-the-book Alinksy. Nothing he does is about the good of this country, or even being a decent person.
Like Obama’s latest failed attempt at political gamesmanship, where he wanted to give his umpteenth speech on how he plans to create more jobs (though the next job he actually creates will be the first one) in front of a joint session of Congress…at the exact same time that the GOP has their next Presidential debate planned.
In other words, he wanted to steal their thunder and force the debate agenda to be about him.
But the GOP had a trump card, if only they had the balls to actually play it. And that trump card was simply saying No. Call him out on choosing this exact time as nothing more than partisan gamesmanship. And then telling him to pound sand.
I just wasn’t sure that Speaker Weepy-McWeepy would actually have the fortitude to do the right thing. And when Obama butt-boy Jay Carney granted the GOP permission to change of their months-in-the-planning debate, I figured Boehner would fold his full house and let Obama sweep the pot with his Q high bluff hand.
Carney went on to claim that the scheduling conflict was a coincidence:
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney says the timing of the speech is not aimed at overshadowing the next Republican debate, which is cosponsored by NBC News and Politico, and is scheduled to air at the same time as the planned presidential address.
“It is coincidental,” Carney said. “It is one debate of many [that will air] on one channel of many… [and] there are many other factors here” to consider when scheduling a major address from the president, he added.
Except of course it wasn’t a coincidence. It was a deliberate move, one that I’m sure Obama thought was shrewd and would make him look smart. But instead he ends up looking stupid and weak after blinking when called on his bullshit.
Thankfully Boehner stood his ground and forced Obambi to move his jobs speech (more empty rhetoric and probably nothing more than another “stimulus” boondoggle to steal more money from tax payers to give to his union friends and cronies) to another night.

Chicago Jesus pulled a junior high move and got checked on it. Glad Boehner stood his ground. If he was so in a hurry to give his empty speech why didn’t he end his vacation sooner?
B. Hussein wanted to divert attention away from the GOP primary debate, a pathetic attempt at a power play.
Now he gets a very public smack-down and has to compete with the opening night of the NFL. We will have to wait and see if he gives the network broadcasting the game “permission” to reschedule the game.

He might, but I know he will make many remarks critical of those who are unwilling to tax and spend as recklessly as he wishes to.
He might mention the word jobs a few times, but the only jobs he is interested in creating are government and union jobs.
