Burglary comes with numerous inherent occupational hazards. One of which, expecially if you decide to practice your trade of burglary in Texas, is likely to be death by shotgun blast to the face.

Interesting perspective (on which I agree) from Hot Air:

Remember Cleve Foster? Iv’e written about him twice here (once in January and once again in April)? He’s the thug who has already had two death sentences stayed at the last moment by SCOTUS this year.

Bob pulled out the Kahr CW .45, and while I was getting a feel for it, he mentioned that they’d just received a CW .40 S&W as a trade in a few weeks ago, and I could walk out of the store with it for less than half the cost of a new .45 ACP.

The Chicago Way, which is really the only way that Obama is familiar with. Story via the Chicago Tribune, who understands the Chicago Way:

Thankfully, Allan Turner at the Houston Chronicle, bothered to talk to the surviving family members of Buck’s victims to give them a voice. And I can see now why Grissom didn’t want to interview them or lend a voice to their views in the Tribune

Greg at Rhymes a Right, a damned fine Texas blogger and occasional commenter here at Urbangrounds has written a heart-touching and tear-inducing post on the loss of his faithful dog and their final drive together to the vet.

Is there even room under that bus anymore?

It’s almost like Obama simply took a bunch of money from one group of people (we’ll call ‘em tax payers) and gave it away (some might use the term redistribution) to some of his friends, cronies, and heavy campaign contributors.Almost…

Meyer will be the first living Marine in 38 years to receive the Medal of Honor, the last being Sgt. Maj. Allan Kellogg, who received the MoH from President Nixon in 1973 (for actions in Vietnam in 1970).

And fellow GOP presidential candidates want to slam Gov. Perry for accepting a $5k donation from a someone who does business in Texas? Michelle Bachman would be better served attacking Obama for abused crony capitalism than trying to tear down someone on her own team (allegedly).

Well, everyone apparently but Obama, who forced the issue to make sure his campaign bundler friend (and Solyndra CEO) got his huge $535 million dollar loan (who are we kidding…it’s not a loan; loans get repaid. It was a gift) just in time for Biden to make turn it into a pre-planned photo op.
