Teonna Brown: Let's see how tough she is in prison
Remember the two black thug teenage girls in Baltimore who were captured on video beating a transgendered woman at a McDonald’s?
Well, 19-year old Teonna Brown was finally sentenced today to 5 years in prison for a hate crime and felony assault:
Convicted of a hate crime and first degree assault. Five years in prison.
Over and over again, two teenage girls attack and beat Chrissy Polis inside a Baltimore County McDonalds until she goes into a seizure — all while a laughing McDonald’s employee records the vicious attack on his cell phone.
The Youtube video sparked community outrage and landed 19-year-old Teonna Brown and her 14-year-old accomplice in jail. Brown now sentenced to five years in prison.
Polis, who is transgender, chose not to appear in court for the sentencing. But her hero Vicki Thoms was.
“I just wanted to make sure that justice was served,” Thoms said.
She can be seen in the video trying to stop the attack on Polis. She ending up punched in the eye herself.
“I thought she was going to die,” Thoms said.
In court, Brown tearfully offered remorse saying “I’m sorry. My mother did not raise me like this. I would really like to apologize to the victim, Miss Chrissy Polis.”
But that apology not accepted according to a letter Polis wrote to the judge.
“I felt like I was going to die that day,” the letter reads. “I continue to suffer seizures, bouts of crying, mental anguish and anxiety. I fear being alone. I have flashbacks about the attacks. I do not forgive them for what they did to me. “
Prosecutors say hate was clearly the motivation for the attack.
“I don’t really care who the victim is,” said Scott Shellenberger. “This wasn’t about a political statement. This was about prosecuting people for a heinous crime that they committed.”
“I just wish that there was more love in this world than hate,” Thoms said. “That’s what I keep saying every time you guys talk to me, and that’s what I hope she learns out of this whole thing, and everybody learns the same thing.”
The criminal case is over, but the civil case is just beginning. Polis has filed suit against McDonald’s for failing to stop the beating and because it was its employee who video taped the incident while laughing about it.
So far a settlement has not been reached.
The other suspect in the case already made an admission to the beating and remains locked up in juvenile detention.
I hope Polis get richer than hell from the McDonald’s law suit.

I wish she had to do every day of that sentence. Hopefully the scummy thug will fuck up in there and have to stay in there longer. Piece of worthless trash.

My hope to the victim is that she can overcome this tragic assault and forgive them not for them, but for herself. It was uncalled for and they deserve any punishment they get. And to the McDonald’s employee who videotaped the assault laughing and shit and didn’t help, I hope you get fired and Miss Polis gets and wins her settlement.
I have a feeling that teonna brown will be a career criminal. Better get used to that cell…You going to be in one for a while.

I would not have called this a hate crime. It is a crime. You have to have hate in your heart to harm others for no reason other than some perceived difference.

You did not read my post. It was a CRIME…and you have to have hate in your heart to do a crime especially where someone was injured to the extent Miss Polis and Mrs Thoms were.
Just cause someone is a little different does not make it a hate crime.
And I do agree with you that it was brutal and sadistic.
May she get a really butch bitch for a cellie. and may Polis get a thoroughly huge settlement from McD’s Too bad they can criminally charge the little fucker who recorded the attack while laughing.
I wonder how many Blacks have been convicted of hate crimes. Bet she’s one of a very few. Deserved the sentence she got.
Dianne, sadly, the only reason she was charged with a hate crime was NOT because Polis was was white, rather because she was a member of another protected class (transgendered). Had Polis simply been a white woman, rather than a MtoF transgendered person, there would not have been any hate crime charges filed.

If Teonna Brown ends up getting a taste of her own medicine in jail (or the juvenile partner while in juvi), I will have no sympathy.
Another young adult enters the prison’s walls, this girl has no idea what she has really done and where she is about to go , she has runied her life , and for what reason, attacking a person because of who they are, clearly , welcome to the real world Miss Brown, I wish for the victim to heal her wounds and her mental state , I can understand why she is bitter, not because shes a transgender, but because this person that was attacked is a human being , just like Miss Brown, it could have been the other way around , but Miss Brown you have sadly gone down the wrong path in your young life , and for what ,
as the saying goes what goes around comes around, I hope Miss Brown asks God for forgiviness, No need for me to bash this young lady, she has gone before the courts of law and they have given her a punishment, and now she must come to grips with the cards that she has been dealt
Unfortunately in her culture prison isn’t even a punishment, in fact she’s living the ‘life.’ I came to this realization a few years ago. Even a recent study came out that demonstrated blacks actually do better in prison, adapting to it like a duck does to water. The study was about black males, but how different could it be in the case of black females?
For whites & Asians for example, prison is devastating because there is a future to lose. But she has nothing to contribute to society anyway because of her ‘fuck you’ attitude and nothing to lose- she’ll probably be even more respected when she gets out back into her ‘community’ for having gone to prison & especially respected for beating a white person, and of course she’ll prob just do something else later on after that to land in prison yet again and again.
She’s an African who just happens to live in America. I think society needs to start looking at blacks in general from a whole new perspective- that’s it’s unreasonable to expect Africans to adapt to a world of rules, laws & a non-violent social decorum. I think they need to be put on reservations like Indians out of sight & out of the way- far away from everyone else where they can beat, kill, rape and eat each other to their hearts content.

Unless she (they) were employees of McDonald’s how can McDonald’s be held liable? Yep I think the victim has grounds for legal action but not against McDonald’s!
you know what i think that employee or the supervisor should have step in and told the other girls too leave, someone had to step and control this madness, and plus who want to go too MCDonald’s to watch a knock down brawl.
