EXECUTION WATCH: Frank Martinez Garcia
UPDATE: He’s dead.
_______________________

Frank Martinez Garcia
- Thug: Frank Martinez Garcia (28 at time of offense)
- Date of Execution: October 27, 2011, sometime shortly after 6:00 pm HTT
- Date of Crime: March 19, 2001
- Victim(s): Hector Garza. (49)
- Last Meal: Congratulations, Franky…you’re the first condemned inmate to not get a special last meal. So, you’ll be having whatever they happen to be serving in the prison dining facility tomorrow.
- Final Words: “Thank you Yahweh” (shouted over and over until he lost consciousness)
On the morning of March 29, 2001, Frank Garcia got into an argument with his 21-year old wife Jessica. San Antonio Police Officer Hector Garza (49 years old, and a father of 5) responded to the disturbance call.
And that’s when Frank Garcia shot Officer Garza four times, killing him. Garcia then shot his own wife three times, killing her, too.
He then fired several shots at others outside the home, wounding one person, and damaging a nearby elementary school. Garcia then surrendered to police and later gave a formal, written statement in which he admitted intentionally killing both officer Garza and Jessica.
Garcia, a documented gang member, used a MAC-10 semi-automatic weapon and an Egyptian-made AK-47 assault rifle to shoot Officer Garza and Jessica Garcia.
The autopsy of Officer Garza revealed (1) he died as a result of four gun shot wounds, each of which would have been fatal alone, (2) the four shots struck Garza, respectively, in the head, two in the back of the neck, and one in the abdomen, which penetrated the lungs and aorta, (3) the shot through Garza’s chest was likely the first to strike him, (4) the shots to Garza’s chest and head came from a non-high-velocity weapon, and (5) the two shots which struck Garza in the neck came from a high velocity weapon, exited through the skull, and caused massive damage to the brain and cranial vault.
Make sure and read the full post from the link in the quote above — and the comments, too. It sure sounds like Frank Garcia’s mother (and likely his father too) were complicit in the deaths of Officer Garza and Jessica.
Seems like a pretty damned cut-and-clear guilty case of capital murder. Cases like this should not take 10 years to carry out the death sentence. Moments after the death sentence was handed down, he should have been taken straight to the death chamber and administered a lethal dose of drugs. Cases like this are why the death penalty is so expensive.
It doesn’t have to be.
Shortly after after 6:00 pm HTT he will no longer be a burden to the citizens of Texas.
Even the sickos over at Prison Talk don’t have much to say…the last message posted on his dedicated thread was more than 22 days ago.
______________
UPDATE — forgot to mention, that next up on the Date With a Gurney (and a lethal dose of sodium pentothal, pancuronium bromide, and potassium chloride) is the slippery and evil Hank Skinner (Nov 9th), who was supposed to be executed on March 24, 2010 for a triple murder he committed in 1993. Hank is pretty much a rock star over at Prison Talk and among the rabid anti-death penalty and death row inmate groupies circuits…(to include one of Hank’s biggest fangirlz, the Texas Tribune’s thug-loving Brandi Grissom….so that one should bring all sorts of lunatics out of the wood work when I put Hank’s new EXECUTION WATCH post up on the front page.

I agree, if they dragged him directly to the lethal injection table after the conviction, he would be scared shitless instead of sitting there for 10 years and preparing for his demise…his victims didn’t get to “prepare”.
Good Riddance to another worthless thug…
Can’t wait for the “he’s a wonderful sweet changed man and his smiles through the glass make my heart sing!”
GAG…
Good riddance to this murderous animal. Hope they are serving bologna soup in the dining room tomorrow.
My sincerest best wishes to the family and friends of Officer Garza. He had every intention of returning home that night and to live out his days in peace, but in attempting to help out another citizen in distress he was brutally murdered. I can only hope that the Garza family and his fellow SAPD officers will find solace in justice being served.
You’re just not going to let this bologna thing go are you Buddy!? I did laugh at that this morning.
Here’s a link from the Daily Mail here with Police Officers trying to do their job. I’d draw your attention to the rather more Pro DP attitude of the rank and file citizens of the UK in the comments section.
Horrible, worthless thug involved but a relatively positive ending.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2053310/Samad-Tadjkarimi-saves-Pc-Paul-Madden-3-minutes-death.html
I don’t hate bologna, personally I love animal lips.
What a disgusting story, not only for what he has done and but for how light the sentence after being declared the most dangerous in all of the UK. I seriously doubt his sentence will be reduced, as he will probably attempt to or succeed in murdering someone in prison.
I’m not surprised by the comments, only that there wasn’t even one that was weepy or wimpy. I saw a public opinion poll taken several years ago in the UK and the majority of the respondents to the poll wished for the return of the death penalty. With the EU-SSR teetering, perhaps the UK and Euro countries can regain their sovereignty and rule of law.
I don’t doubt that you’re right N2L about his subsequent prison career! I don’t think he’ll ever be released either.
You certainly picked up on the point I was making in that I feel there has been a significant shift in public opinion regarding the death penalty here in the UK. More people are pro for sure now, and a lot of that is down to the current economic climate. People become more resentful of the cost of keeping criminals who have no or little chance of release, when times are hard and money is tight. Also the conditions in a lot of UK prisons are very pleasant and the inmates are comfortable and kept entertained and occupied, there’s certainly no ad seg conditions here.
I don’t doubt our government now would see the reintroduction of the death penalty as a backward step, personally I’d see it more as a smart piece of housekeeping!
Of course if reintroduction of the DP is ever perceived as a vote winner, there will be a big turnaround as usual.
Thanks
The poll I was referring to was taken quite a few years ago, long before the current global financial mess.
I was looking for the poll from 1995 that stated 76% of the sample wanted the death penalty reinstated and found this poll released this past August. I realize that in 1998 UK law removed the DP from the books, but it is my understanding that to be a member of the EU there can be no DP, so I don’t think the issue will ever be raised in Parliament while the EU controls things.
I think it would take the darling little Pookie of some famous person or a famous person to be horribly murdered before the public outcry would be strong enough to even debate the issue.
Some people are just no damned good and will never be. Approaching the penalty with care and diligence should always be foremost, but there should also be a seriousness of purpose when dealing with those few in each society that will murder our citizens.
N2L
Man, you’re well informed. Every time you post I learn something new!
The innernut is an amazing source for information. I’m surprised none of us came across that poll back in August when it came out.
Bologna..yuck. Gimme ham any day.
I was being facetious. It’s an old Steve Martin gag.
He murdered a police officer and now is trying to use the’tard card to get off on a last minute appeal. I also think he looks like stephen woods’ more ‘tarded brother too…
THE CHICKENS ARE SAVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You’ve got to be kidding me…
What have he and his attorneys been doing for the last 10 YEARS???
Apparently they’d spent 10 years coming up with the ultimate last meal request…………………..D’oh
I’m with no2liberals…
I hope he gets a hot, steaming bowl of bologna soup.
Well, maybe the soup will be lukewarm by the time it reaches his cell.
i shall be eagerly awaiting No2′s imitation of “Bones” McCoy.
Yes, he should be worm food by now right?
USSC = DENIED
HE DEAD!
Indeed.
Rip u will be miss love you primo.
Primo? Really?
Please excuse me if you already know this, but primo is Spanish for cousin.
He’s dead, Jim!
Quite a few retired and active SAPD were there and Garica had no witnesses.
Murderous bastard left a wife and five children without their father, Officer Garza.
Had no witnesses cause his family knew he was a piece of crap
Good Riddance…finally…
Actually, Garcia was a product of his evil, vile parents. His parents, whom he and his murdered wife lived with, knew how abusive their son was to his wife. They watched the beatings. Garcia probably learned it from his dad. On one of the calls to the police from Jackie, you can hear Garcia’s dad in the background yelling, “the only way Jackie is leaving this house with those kids is in a body bag.”
Garcia’s mom is the one who called him to come stop Jackie from leaving with the kids. She called her violent son, knowing that he would use violence to stop Jackie from leaving; she was brought up on charges and sentenced to a year for her role in Jackie’s murder.
If they weren’t there, it wasn’t because they “knew he was a piece of crap.” They raised him to be exactly the rabid animal that he is. Hopefully, if they weren’t there it’s because they were deported back to Mexico or are 6 feet under already.
Re: Skinner – As far as I can tell, he has one appeal in federal court that he wants no action on until the state court motion is ruled on. The state is arguing that the federal court should make its decision, giving Skinner time to appeal to the 5th Circuit and the USSC. I think they are trying to avoid Skinner losing in state court and then coming back to federal court causing even more delays. The defense is also putting media pressure on Perry to order DNA testing. I know Bush did it once but I’m not sure of all the details. It was, of course, a waste of time in that the guy was clearly guilty. Anyway, they have the courts and the defense should not be trying to sidestep them by going to the governor. This is not the type of case where there is any doubt of Skinner’s guilt accept among the thug lovers and/or idiots.
Did this killer attend to john jay hs…
No changes, same idiots, with same arguments, day in and day out all year long, get a fucking life if anybody can ever withstand you IRL, probably not but give it a try you self-centered bunch of dickheads

This murderous thug really WAS retarded! The dumb ass was 22 years old when he dropped out of high school! Too bad they didn’t have his piece of crap parents lined up on gurneys next to him, they should have been done away with too! What garbage!
