Issa’s Gunwalker Subpoena a Virtual Non-Story in the Complicit MSM

Do you have any remaining doubt that 99% of our Main Stream Media has an overwhelming Liberal bias? That they are active participants in advancing the Democrat party line and Liberal agenda? All the while (gleefully) doing Oppo-research on behalf of the Democrat machine to destroy and smear their opponents on the Right.

If it wasn’t clear enough to you by their role in getting Obama elected in 2008, then their complete lack of interest and coverage in what should be is the biggest scandal in our government’s history should be your wake up call.

On October 9, an unbylined Associated Press story reported that Congressmen Darrell Issa “could send subpoenas to the Obama administration as soon as this week over weapons lost amid the Mexican drug war.” On Wednesday, October 12, Issa did just that.

Mike Vanderboegh’s Sipsey Street Irregulars blog has a succinct summary (HT Ed Driscoll) of the establishment press’s coverage of Issa’s actions since the subpoenas’ issuance:

As evidence, ladies and gentlemen of the jury of history, I present the undisputed fact that on the evening news shows of NBC, ABC and CBS this week not one — NOT ONE — mentioned the unprecedented subpoena by a Congressional committee of information regarding the entire top echelon of the Justice Department in the Gunwalker Scandal.

Had this scandal involved John Ashcroft and the Bush Administration, does anyone doubt that the story would have led the nightly half-hour “puppet theater”? Or, that it wouldn’t have been covered like a blanket by all news departments from the moment the blood of Brian Terry dried in the desert sands of Rio Rico?

It appears that only Fox News did cover the subpoena’s issuance the day it occurred.

This is a scandal orchestrated by Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano, with the full approval and knowledge of Obama, to allow US guns to be purchased by known drug cartel members (using US tax dollars) and then walked across the border into Mexico (under the knowing and complicit eyes of US federal agencies) — all to manufacture a fake “gun crisis” in order to administratively impose stricter gun laws on US citizens. Guns that were then used to murder US Border Agents and hundreds of Mexican citizens.

But the wussies that comprise our Liberal MSM are also radically anti-gun and anti-second amendment, and are fully on board not just with Operation Gunwalker and Operation Fast & Furious…they’ll do whatever necessary to help cover the illegal role the Obama administration has played in this scandal. Once the trials are in full swing, we should also indict most of the MSM for their role as co-conspirators, too.
