Jerry Sandusky being arrested

Jerry Sandusky being arrested. He has since made bail. I hope he is so consumed by guilt and shame that he shoots himself in the head or hangs himself in his garage before his trial starts.

UPDATE II (November 10) — Joe Paterno and university president Graham Spanier have been fired.

UPDATE: Two Penn State Officials resign: “Penn State Athletic Director Timothy Curley, 57, and Gary Schultz, 62, the university’s senior vice president for finance and business, face charges of one count of perjury each.”

“They stepped down late Sunday after an emergency meeting of the university’s board of trustees.”

Now it’s time for JoePa to do the same.

_______________________________________

Penn State has the reputation of running one of the cleanest programs in all of college football. For the last 45 years, “JoePa” has been the head football coach of the Nittany Lions. But the scandal that is breaking in Happy Valley this weekend might prove to be the end of JoePa’s career.

While the allegations made against former Penn State Defensive Coordinator Jerry Sandusky have nothing to do with football, it has everything to do with the moral and ethical values of the entire program — if not the entire university.

In case you have not heard, Sandusky, 68, has been arrested and charged with 40 counts of what all amount to the brutal rapes of small boys — at least 8 of them. Almost all of whom he came into contact with at “Second Mile,” a group home he founded in 1977 dedicated to helping troubled boys.

I started to read the 23-page grand jury indictment, but couldn’t get through it — it’s that disturbing.

Here’s some of the relevant info:

At approximately 9:30 p.m. on March 1, 2002, a Penn State graduate assistant entered what should have been an empty football locker room. He was surprised to hear the showers running and noises he thought sounded like sexual activity, according to a Pennsylvania grand jury “finding of fact” released Saturday.

When he looked in the shower he saw what he estimated to be a 10-year-old boy, hands pressed up against the wall, “being subjected to anal intercourse,” by Jerry Sandusky, then 58 and Penn State’s former defensive coordinator. The grad assistant said both the boy and the coach saw him before he fled to his office where, distraught and stunned, the grad assistant telephoned his father, who instructed his son to flee the building.

The next day, a Saturday, the grad assistant went to the home of head coach Joe Paterno and told him what he had seen. The day after that, Paterno called Penn State athletic director Tim Curley to his home to report that the grad assistant had told him he had witnessed “Jerry Sandusky in the Lasch Building showers fondling or doing something of a sexual nature to a young boy.”

A week-and-a-half later, according to the grand jury report, the grad assistant was called to a meeting with Curley and Gary Schultz, the school’s senior vice president for finance and business, where he retold his story.

Sandusky had retired from the Penn State program in 1999, a surprise to many who saw him as a possible successor to Paterno. He instead dedicated himself to “Second Mile,” a group home he founded in 1977 dedicated to helping troubled boys. He often brought troubled kids through the Penn State facilities, including the famed Beaver Stadium, bought them gifts and took them to sporting events.

Curley did not notify university police or have the graduate assistant further questioned involving the incident. No other legal or university entity investigated the case.

Merely alerting police would’ve been significant since they investigated Sandusky in 1998 for “incidents with children in football building showers.” Curley never asked for a background check on Sandusky.

Curley instead took it upon himself to inform the director of “Second Mile” about the charge, although it didn’t concern potential sodomy of a minor.

Curley told the grand jury he was merely told that Sandusky was “horsing around” with the boy. The grand jury did not find that credible in part because Schultz said he had gotten the impression “Sandusky might have inappropriately grabbed the young boys’ genitals while wrestling around.” Both Curley and Schultz are charged with perjury for claiming the grad assistant didn’t inform them of “sexual activity.”

Curley later met with Sandusky and told him he was no longer allowed to bring children onto the Penn State campus. He forwarded the report on to university president Graham Spanier, who approved of Sandusky’s ban from bringing children onto campus and himself never reported the incident to police.

On the base of the grand jury findings Sandusky was arrested Saturday morning and charged with seven counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse; eight counts of corruption of minors, eight counts of endangering the welfare of a child, seven counts of indecent assault and other offenses. He was released Saturday on $100,000 bail.

Pennsylvania’s attorney general cited incidents involving Sandusky that ran from 1994 until 2009, including the above act.

A child was raped on campus by a former Defensive Coordinator. It was witnessed by a credible witness. And nobody called the police.

That graduate assistant who first reported the rape of a 10 year old boy in the Penn State football showers? Mike McQueary, a former QB for the Nittany Lions and who is now in his 8th year as a coach at Penn State and their recruiting coordinator.

As for why JoePa has to go?

The graduate assistant (and former QB) tells JoePa that he saw Sandusky raping a 10-year old child in his locker room. A  full day later, JoePa tells Curley what sounds like a toned-down version of the story originally told to him by McQueary. Then, the administration waits a full week and a half before bringing McQueary in to tell his story. Curley and the administration chose to do basically nothing with this information — they banned him from bringing kids on campus anymore. So, basically they said it’s ok to rape kids, just don’t do it on campus anymore?

The guy was a sexual predator from approximately 1994 to 2009. And Penn State did nothing to stop him.

JoePa knew that his friend Jerry was raping little boys. And he did not report him to the police. He did not follow through with his boss to make sure that this pervert was not able to hurt any more little kids. But he didn’t. He kept his mouth shut. He should step down immediately or be fired.

As the Washington Post writes:

You can’t read the 23-page grand jury report and come to any other conclusion; Penn State football and its pristine reputation apparently superseded the alleged sexual assault of a young boy — perhaps as many as eight young boys — over 15 years by Sandusky.

Joe Pa knew, if the charges are true.

They all knew.

And they never told police.

This commenter gets it:

I would not have gone through channels. I would have glanced around to see if there were something at hand that could be used as a bludgeon, if not—I’d just attack the son of a bitch. I’d scream like a fucking banshee after getting the first blow and I’d keep screaming. Kick him. Hit him. Pull his hair. Sock him in the nuts. Claw at his eyes. Punch his kidneys. Push his nose into his brain. Tell the kid to run and call 9/11 then his parents.

The man has been raping children! My god— that’s not an administrative problem. It’s not a personal matter. It’s an abomination, a crime, a shame, a sin. Go crazy. Get medieval on his ass, just make sure he STOPS what he is doing, that the police are notified, the child’s parents are notified, and recommended to the parents that they get a real good lawyer who loves to prosecute big-shots and to get a counselor for their child who just wants to help the child and who isn’t interested in the limelight.

  1. So this is how the old coach goes out, due to condoning a predatory pedophile friend. Aside from how disgusting this matter is, whoever gets to fire him(if he doesn’t resign/retire) will now be proud to list firing Paterno on his resume and not fearful of it.
Personally, I haven’t liked Paterno since 1969 when he was whining about Nixon bestowing the mythical national championship to #1UT after the Big Shootout in Little Rock with #2Arkansas. I was a teen, but recognized a whiny little bitch when I saw one.
After hearing so many commentators say recently that the only reason Paterno doesn’t resign is because being around the young men in the football program keeps him going. Thinking now of those comments gives me the creeps.

    • Everyone at PSU responded the same way: how can I protect PSU from this scandal. McCreary, his father, Paterno, the athletic director, the VP, the President all tried to protect the image of PSU. PSU was father and mother to these men. It gave them their income, their status in the community, their sense of belonging, their identity. All this was more important than the fate of some unknown boy or boys.
What did Paterno do during that full day he didn’t report it to his superiors? Did he wrestle with his soul or did he worry about the legal ramifications of not telling his superiors? Eventually and reluctantly, 24 hours later, he told his superiors. They probably talked about how this could make PSU look bad.
Defending an identity is always more important than truth and justice. Just ready any newspaper or listen to any news broadcast.

  2. I wish this ahole could get the death penalty.

  3. He he ho ho Pappa Joe has got to go!

  4. Typical B1x behavior.

At OSU they do drugs and Tats

At PSU they do little boys.

  5. I wonder if his involvement goes deeper and may be the reason nothing was done.

  6. This grown man witnessed the rape of a child and didn’t stop it! He ran away- Disgusting!

    • I agree with you, Ann. And it’s not like he wasn’t capable of physically stopping the assault — he played quarterback at Penn State, so I’m assuming he was a fairly big, strong, and athletic kid.

How he didn’t rush in to physically stop that horrific assault on a small child is beyond me. He should live in shame the rest of his life, and be openly mocked, scorned, and spit on by every person he encounters each day.

      • Hey robbbbbie copper show your face you coward …. A little extreme for somone not committing the crime

        • But agree he should have intervened and removed the child…. Call 911 on the spot. Even use physical force against the attacker. Anything but run and call daddy.

        • a little extreme my ass….no the witness didnt commit the crime, but if you walked into a gas station bathroom and saw a 10 year old getting nailed up the butt would you tell the guy stocking the cooler, the cashier, the fast food chain next door, the customer buying a lottery ticket, the newspaper boy,or maybe you would call the cops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!bottom line…people freaked out for penn state not for the boy/boys,everyone new what to do but it was easier to just slap his hand and send him to the second miles principle for a detention!!!god help our nation!!!

      • I think the “witness” ought to be charged also. The fact that a grown man witnessed a 10 yr old getting sodomized by an old man and did nothing to stop him just fucking disgusts me. People are just plain fucked up. I say we sew their assholes closed and keep feeding and feeding and feeding them. You know its a sad day in American history when a grown man doesn’t have the sack to pull an old fag off of a child. I really hope he rots in prison and then rots in Hell.

    • I have got to agree. I was ready to jump on this, angry as hell, until I read the Grand Jury report. The eyewitness said he saw a 10 yr old boy being sodomized (in his words ‘pounded’) by a big, older man…..and he did nothing but call his Father? He didn’t intervene, call campus police or at least, (if he was that cowardly) follow up on the assault, the boy, or this dude?
This story is sordid and makes me wonder what the h is going on?

    • He didn’t fight off the attacker. He didn’t notify the authorities. He went running to his daddy, who was part of the PSU good old boy network.

I hope he lives with the guilt the rest of his miserbale fucking life.

      Fuck Penn State.

      Fuck the Big Ten.

      • and sam most of all fuck your mother

        • Real witty and original, Big Ten fanboy. Your whole conference is a piece of shit.

        • Makes me sad to see two people argue about conferences when this is such a serious matter.

        • For real? This hole discussion turned into an argument over college football conferences. WOW! Just had a complete loss of confidence in the human condition. This planet is, for lack of a better word, FUCKED!

    • I have to wonder how much his wife knew and what about his six adopted children. It wouldnt surprise me if he had molested them! authorities should look into that.

      • Blow out the pilot light Kim and turn the gas on high!

      • I have just been wondering the same.Rapers of children don’t miss any opertunity.I know.
How many of his adopted children wound up in his little bedroom in the basement?

    • I agree. Why does mcqueary get a pass for doing nothing.

    • 1) If this was reported, yet there were no victims to come forward and no allegations from anyone, wouldn’t it be typical of Sandusky to say that it never happened? What if that since there was no proof other than the eyewitness who didn’t do anything, JoePa chalked it up to a misunderstanding and dismissed it?
      2) If we are going to say that anyone who knows of abuse of a child and doesn’t report it (based on heresay) is guilty, then we are going to have some guilty men and women all over the world who know, or at some point knew, about their daughters, sisters, cousins, nieces, etc…being raped/molested and never saying a word. It’s been going on for years and family members often look the other way.
      3) If JoePa followed the chain of command and reported it, why does everyone assume that he had the power to go above the President of the university and fire the man (based on circumstantial evidence)?
      4) Does anyone know how hard it is to prove rape/molestation?
      5) Does anyone know the ramifications of falsely accusing someone of it without proof? Any thought that since JoePa didn’t know this to be factual information, he wasn’t willing to risk a slander case?
      6) Does anyone realize that JoePa did fire Sandusky back in 1999 but nobody really knows why? Also, how did Sandusky get rehired?
      7) If your grandfather knew your mom had been molested as a child but didn’t report it to the police, would you now be screaming “off with his head”?

      • Emeralds,

I get what would seem to be your attempting to make sense of this horrific situation. I am a Penn State Grad and I am sickened, humiliated and angry that nothing was done to protect the victims. I was on a Penn State team and I had many PSU football player friends.

If you google the Sandusky timeline, you will see a NOT so coincidental incident with Jerry in 1998 in the showers. A report was done and within a few months Jerry retires from Penn State Football in 1999. I don’t think that the timeline gives Joe or anyone else in the football program a pass regarding Jerry’s inappropriate behavior with young boys.

If anything, the timeline seems to indicate that when the incident happened in 2002, there should have been NO DOUBT that there is a pattern of inappropriate behavior and the authorities needed to step in to stop this horrible activity.

I knew Mike McQuery from school and I can say that I am very saddened to hear that he did not go into the showers and personally remove the boy to safety and contact the authorities on the spot! I understand he must have understood the gravity of the situation in terms of the negative impact it would have on PSU Football and the University, but where was his conscious regarding the safety and well being a little 10 year old boy. Where did that victim weigh in on how it should have been handled? Red, I am totally ashamed of how you handled this!

It will forever by difficult to say what was once a proud chant, “We are, Penn State!” Shame on Jerry, but more importantly shame on those who decided to sit back and do NOTHING.

  7. Please understand that I am not a football fan, nor do I normally listen to sports channels. My husband does. Today, I was mesmerized by the information that unfolded on the radio and the news in general about the allegations concerning Jerry Sandusky, and what appears to be an intentional cover up of what actually occurred with the children involved. I guess I’m still confused about why Joe Paterno appeared to be rather nonchalant in mentioning the incident reported to him by the undergrad student, whereby the student, according to the report, explained what he’d witnessed in the shower, between Sandusky and the young boy. There is no doubt in my mind that the undergrad gave enough details to Joe Paterno that indicated that a sexual assault had occurred. It appears that all are now attempting to minimize what they were told about the incident initially.

Joe and Jerry were friends…….like many other situations, Joe Paterno had some idea that his friend had “some issues”. There was chatting going on around the campus about Jerry Sandusky. We all know, or at least have some inkling when there is something “not quite right” with our friends. This appears to be a classic example of a matter being swept under the rug;the tought is, “it’ll go away”. I am certain that many of those in the football athletic circle were aware of Jerry Sandusky’s behavior, however, people “don’t want to get involved.” As horrible as it seems, some turn a blind eye, as long as they continue to receive their salaries.

The issue with Jerry Sandusky didn’t “just begin” in recent years. I am certain that a bit of “digging” would uncover that he’s always been a sexual predator. If those closest to him were to be honest, I am certain that they too would be able to cite incidents whereby his behavior raised questions. It amazes me how some feel that if certain matters are ignored, they will simply “go away.” Jerry Sandusky needed help. It is alarming that apparently he didn’t get it before so many lives were affected by his actions !

    • No one, barring some weird head injury, up and decides to molest children at 40 something years old. Sandusky’s likely been raping kids since he was a teen, and like you said Linda, a little digging will root up more of his victims. I’ve a sickening feeling that the number is real, real high; just think, nieces and nephews, foster and adopted children, neighbors, kids he babysat as a teen, etc etc etc. He should be castrated and the rest of those who just sat and didn’t intervene need to face serious jail time too.

His wife knows too; how does a woman not know something like this about her husband?

      • Unless it’s happening in your own home, you’d be surprised what wives don’t know, and what parents don’t know. Sadly it’s not uncommon for the wife of the abuser, or parents of the abused to be completely oblivious for years or even decades.

        • True – it’s odd, almost a mental block not being unaware or incapable.

        • Though the grand jury indictment seems to indicate that at least some of these assaults occurred in their home.

Where was she when this was happening? Did she not find it unusual for her 50-something year old husband to be bringing home young boys (for any reason)?

        • It WAS happening in his own home.In the basement bedroom

        • Oh pleassseee….Melanie…what female is that blind, naive and dumb that she wud not c what was happening w/her husband 4 years r decades?!?!?!?!?…

if that is the case, then they aren’t having sex b/c a woman who is having sex w/her man wud no…………..

  8. doug are you a moron? tat’s and weed is not even close to RAPE! it would surprise me in the least if you your self was a child molesting rapist!

  9. I can’t help but feel like Paterno is getting protected when he shouldn’t be. The grad assistant clearly testified to the grand jury that he witnessed Sandusky rape a young boy in the shower in 2002 and the he told Paterno about.

Although Paterno informed the Athletic Director, but after that nothing was done and Sandusky continued to abuse children for another decade. Paterno had first hand knowledge of Sandusky, regardless of how hard he attempted to keep himself willingly ignorant. Instead of protecting these pedophile coddling coaches, Penn State should do now what they always should have done before and protect the children.

    • Men are disgusting pigs.I blame testosterone

      • I blame women and his wife, specifically, for not doing a good enough job keeping him from committing “unnecessary roughness” and “ass interference” penalties.

I doubt we will ever agree on this, though.

        • Awesome!! Must be a damn feminazi. Funny how they alwyas come to the aide of a liberal but not a conservative. Where were you when Condi rice was being treated like a pig Kim?

          Fucking retard!

      • Well I am real neat and clean, have no desires to be with small boys, and wait a minute let me check….yep they are still attached…so I doubt we can blame testosterone. Let’s lay the blame on the guy who did the act….not the rest of us men….what do you say Kimmy?

      • Kim, universally blaming it on men because of testosterone lets Sandusky off the hook way too easy. “It’s not his fault, it’s he wears his sex organs on the outside. Grooooss!!” lol. If that were true Athenian pederasty would probably be seen everywhere, instead it only survives in the dirtiesst and rankest places in the world. The middle east, cub scout sleepover retreats, Catholic confessionals, congressional back alleys and bathroom stalls, and Penn State athletic facilities.

Sandusky’s a horrific child predator and the Penn State Athletic Department staff members are all aiders and abetters, and not because they have testosterone fuel pumping from their gonads, but because they are the lowest scum bags with zero sense of duty to human decency or compassion for their fellow person and that is something more likely inherited from a horrible mother and a messed up father than a genetic correlation to DHT.

  10. The grad student should be charged as well as the janitors who also witnessed Sandusky raping a child. Why didn’t they get the child out of harm’s way ,call the police, and THEN call the officials. Their first duty was to the children. What was the matter with these people?! Are they all child abusers and are protecting one another?

    • Hear! Hear!

    • I can’t imagine walking in on the rape of a child and doing nothing. I also can’t imagine referring to it as “sexual intercourse” – it isn’t. 10 year olds don’t engage in intercourse with old men.
I don’t know how McQueary lives with himself. 9 years he let that go? Nice.

      • Yep…all in exchange for a job as a coach on his beloved Nittany Lions football team. What price silence?

      • Everybody seems to be so focused on Paterno but obviously McQueary used this as a stepping stone. Nine years ago. I suppose in McQueary’s eyes running and telling Paterno was his action and contribution to ward any guilt. If nothing ever come to fruition with Sandusky after being caught, how could McQueary accept and work with the indivduals that did nothing—but through inaction or giving to a blind eye on this thus perse condoning.

    • I think it was more than Jerry molesting boys. I hope the truth comes out!

      • Well I hope and pray that he was the only one….because if we take your position that would mean more kids were harmed…Is that whwt you are hoping for? I think you problems are as deep as this guys problems are….Kimmy.

    • Adarc–You are exactly right. Seeing a grown man having anal intercourse with a young boy, then walking away from it without helping the victim is the equivalent of being an accomplice to the crime. McQueary’s odd behavior could be due to the possibility that he was similarly abused as a child, perhaps by Sandusky–or by the first person he went to–his own father. Who knows the turns this sordid story will take. I’d like to think the Pennsylvania Attorney General won’t minimize it, but there certainly is that possibility. The scandal could lead to the end of Penn State. It’s that big.

  11. I am floored at how people can bring everything from politics to tats into something like this..Really guys its about child molestation..think you could stick to the supject just once

  12. [...] Jerry Sandusky sexual assault case.I didn’t help me sleep. It got me thinking.Image source: UrbanGrounds.comThinking About the VictimsI thought about the 8 boys that Sandusky allegedly assaulted. They are [...]

  13. Unbelievable!!!!! Several others share my sentiments, the former quarterback Mike McQueary, saw an obvious display of a sexual battery upon a small child by a large, older man and did not think to pull him off of the child, knock him down, ask what was going on? Oh My God!!! However, he did think to call his Daddy, or more graphically – protect his own ass! That child didn’t have the opportunity to call his Dad, friend, priest or anyone for that matter. Mike McQueary and GOD will have to work that one out. What most people don’t realize or bother to find out is that child sexual predators are weak, frightened individuals themselves (hence the reason they prey on small, young children) and rarely expect to be confronted, many become convinced they can’t or won’t be caught. I see this entire situation as a complete failure on the part of many adults and people in positions of authority to protect a child and prevent further abuse. It seems way too many people were concerned with the reputation of the University, and their own selfish needs, and look what it got them. So, so, so, sorry for the victims and their families.

    • You best hope he wouldnt call his PRIEST. he’d of gotten more of the same for sure!! good old boy child raping network

      • You know Kimmy all of the Priests I know are very good and devout men. I went to Catholic School for 12 years and not a one touched me except to smack me in the head when I most likely needed to be smacked….you really need help with your anger and your hatred, but the Priest’s, our church, and I forgive you…

    • Well said.

  14. So outraged that McQueary didn’t stop the abuse. Who walks away from a little boy being raped??!!! He needs to face some jail time too. And his defense is that he told his boss so he isn’t responsible anymore….bullshit.

  15. wow ….who did he rape an girl or an boy

  16. I have to admit that this story actually makes me a little sad. I hold a degree from Penn State, even though my loyalties have always remained with my first college here in Texas, my time in happy valley was just that…..happy. It is so fucking unbelievable how people can think of themselves above the law. what the fuck poppa joe? How could you bring that kind of shame to a university?

This is why for the longest time I have said we need to get rid of “student athletes” and call the university football teams what they are….the minor leagues. Pay those fuckers to play, pay the coaches to coach and let it stand on its own.

BTW….if all you fucking idiots who are ready to pile on this university, save your breath. It happens anywhere you have people in power who think they can cover up facts. Texas and okayhomo included.

    GOD BLESS TEXAS!!

    • Texas sucks. oil mongers rednecks.yes im sure they rape little boys down there. that and blue tick hounds

      • Ha ha ha….Kim. I love how all you liberal feminazi deuchebags like to rip Texas. Have you ever been here? Do you even know what the fuck you are talking about or do you only believe what your fucking liberal slanted hollywierd and lamestream media tell you.

You see that is the difference between people like me and retards like you. I have enough of an open mind to realize that I could get a pretty damn good education in yankee land. Even though if you really look at PA you find the city of brotherly love on one end (what a fucking mess that place is) and Pittssburgh on the other. Everything in between is kinda like alabama. So you want to talk about us rednecks when you haven’t clue one what you say. I have been in both settings and I must say I will pick the rednecks in Texas anyday over the fucking hillbillies up in yankee land.

I know the penis envy has you down and your butch girlfriend hasn’t learned to use the strap on yet. Stop taking your angst out on good hard working people. Fucking slut!

        GOD BLESS TEXAS!!

        • If ur going to get incensed enough about this crime…have the decency to not use profanity about it…
profanity is SIN TOO, in the eyes of God! and ur nothing but a hypocrite, if you post here against this despicable behavior and then, show by ur own conduct, that ur a dirtbag too.

please people, find ur way back to Christ, before its too late…

this man who did this dirty deed, took his victims to church…thats how sick he is!

this is what SIN and the devil does to human beings…wise up!

          L.

        • Right…because cursing (string together 4 letters together to form a little word) is just like raping a child.

      • Boy you hate everything don’t you.

      • Layna…..I put you in that same category. Wise up bitch. Language is not a sin….how the hell could it be. All the bible says is do not take the Lords name etccc… Words like fuck , shit, cunt, shitstain, deuchenozzle, fat titty no brain bitch, smelly 3 hole dick muncher etc…did not exist. So who are you to tell me not to use them. They are descriptive terms that get a point across. Get you dumbfuck? see how easy it is.

Now stop preaching to any of us about your superior values. Talk about a hyprocrite!

        • Have to side with Lanya here. Not that I don’t use profanity obviously, but the Bible does talk about taming the tongue. It doesn’t mention specific words, but James 3 equates the tongue to the rudder of a ship or a tiny spark that sets a forest on fire. What is in your heart will be reflected in what comes out of your mouth. But if that is really how you choose to speak (to a woman with good intentions, no doubt) then nobody will need to wonder or point out what kind of person you are. As for me and my comments toward Kim–that skanky twat– I’m not perfect…just forgiven.

      • “But if that is really how you choose to speak (to a woman with good intentions, no doubt) then nobody will need to wonder or point out what kind of person you are”

You see, just like she did, you jumped in to a thread that wasn’t directed toward you. If you are offended by how I choose to say something….fine. You have that right, however the first ammendment gives me the fucking right to say any fucking thing I want any fucking time I want to say it (well, of course there are some stipulations). Sarcasm aside….if you really want to equate my foul mouth to that of a little boy butt lovin sociopath, you have the problem not me.

Learn tolerence, which I believe is also taught in the bible, toward your fellow man. If my words have no direct hurtful impact on your life, leave me the fuck alone.

        Christian….yes. Lunatic and fanatic….no!

        • Comment is directed at layna jan……the saviour of all our souls!! Didn’t mean it to come off as bashing Droc.

Anyone can twist words in the bible, or any sacred book, to meet thier beliefs. Look at Waco and/or any other so called christian cult. If you want to use an old book of tales to support your claim of right vs wrong….have fun. Me, my views, my beliefs and my language will be judged by no man. We all have sin, but to equate harsh language to rape, or murder is kind of crazy. So stop trying to save our souls layna…..I for one, do not appreciate your words and will ALWAYS retaliate with the harshest of criticism. If you don’t like it…..don’t read it ya dumb fuckstain on an old mattress. i just love that old 1st ammendment.

  17. It’s just a shame that things like this bring out all kinds of judgment on people. Everyone can so easily sit here and write about what they would have done or who they would have called if they had seen this. No one knows what they would or would not do unless you are face to face with what is happening. I am sure that there are many people wishing they had made different choices or decisions at the time but they can’t change them now. And the fact that this happened at Penn State does not make everyone from Penn State responsible or the entire school at fault. These actions were done by individuals not by an entire program or establishment. Each individual should be held accountable accordingly. Don’t judge an entire group for the actions of a few. Put the responsibility where it belongs on those who committed the acts and crimes.

    • Covering up the acts and allowing a known sexual predator continue to pray on children is also a crime, and that’s why we’re demanding accountability from those who knew and covered it up, to include Paterno and McQueary.

And I have zero doubts about what I would do if I witnessed a grown man sodomizing a small child in a shower. And one of those things is most definitely “call the police.”

    • I know exactly what I would have done in that situation – rescue the child from harm, call the police, and testify against the criminal. Frankly, that you would not, is damn creepy.

    • Not sure what you’re implying here.. If i saw a rape on a child.. i would chew out the perpetrators eyes and spit them in his/hers face.. They’re all f’n guilty..

    • Partly right, PARTLY WRONG!…

apparently, the kids at Penn State., thousands of them, at that, thot it justified, to riot over the arrest of their coach, but had no concern, over the welfare, of an unknown tally of young boys, some of them children…
there is, indeed, something very wrong at Penn.State…and may these deeds be exposed now, in all of the other colleges around the country, as people come forward and deal with these individuals.

No time to gloss over sin here…time to expose it, deal with it and repent!

      L.

  18. As horrible as this story is I believe It’s the kind of happening, (but without the child rape) that happens many times. Think about the young man who saw the child being raped. What did he do? He called his Dad. Think about that. He had ambitions to be a coach. Look how it traveled up the chain of command. Each had his turf to protect. We are talking about big MONEY. This scandle goes straight to the College President. These people did not care about the child victims, they cared about their own careers. I hope now that the law is involved that the parents of these child victims will find good lawers to sue Penn State. It cant cure the boys of what has happened, but it can buy the children medical help. This reminds me of what happened in the Catholic Church, the surest way to correct conditions is to cost the perpertrators really big BUCKS. Parents of the child victims, go see a good lawyer.

    • as long as there is men there will be child molestation.stats show 1 in 4 children are molested. most by their own fathers. there is nothing more depraved. I would be ashamed to be a man

      • Kim fuck you, you deranged fucking cunt. Equating ALL men to the shameless disgusting actions of few? Your statistics apply only to the actual occurrences and say nothing of the millions of children who AREN’T physically, mentally, or sexually abused. Dare I say anyone who spouts hatred as you do is either a victim herself, or more likely an accomplice.

      • Yep Kim and in about 70-90 years there would be no one left on earth, but heck, we would cure all kinds of abuse….

      • thats is bullshit 1 and 4 kids are not molested by there own fathers. how stupid are you? no wonder women are stupid fucking cunts

  19. You should alter your picture caption. First of all, suicide is too good for the piece of sh*t, too quick and painless. Second, there exists a hierarchy in prison just like the real world, and “rapes little boys” is at the absolute bottom. He deserves prison, where he will likely get to find out what his victims felt like.

    • Oh, I agree with you. I don’t want him to commit suicide, but I think he’s likely to take the coward’s way out before this goes to trial. I will not be at all surprised to find out that he offed himself rather than be publicly held to account for his evil acts.

    • Sadly, he will because of his age and infamous status, he will probably be separated from the general population.

      • hmm cant edit that but you know what i meant to say :-P

        • Yes, but guards have a way funny way of accidentally leaving scum like this all by themselves………happens all the time………

  20. Everyone involved in this long term systemic perversity should be deposed, tried and sentenced to share a cell with a very large sex starved inmate. Actually, child molesters are often killed by inmates because even most convicted felons have some sense of decency toward children.

  21. that description of the act sickens me.. this guy should face the worst penaly possible. once the investigation is revealed on this guys past i wonder what will come out. Sandusky couldve been subject to physical if not sexual abuse as a child as well; no one is born a child rapist. its screwed up how these acts and behaviors chain down from the generations, like a viral disease. let the justice system do what it will with this pedafile. … as far as Paterno is concerned, I don’t know why he wouldnt notify authorities. to be quite clear, this all points to the undergrad who was the actual eye witness, had a done what any rational person would have done, which is stop the act, and at the LEAST, call the police, this wouldnt be happening, and some lives would have been spared from the molestation. but the big bosses! wow how could they not do anything about it, i can see paterno notifying them and having a defense that he expected them to do something. but really, how much time needs to pass before you say, “hmm, maybe they didnt do anything about. maybe i should” the answer is literally days, if not hours. i dont see any good ending for paterno in this… sad sad story.

  22. Put j. s. in a cell where he can receive the same treatment but for the rest of his life. Hope someone slams jerry sandusky’s body up against a wall-spread eagle and let him know what it feels like. Then mandate that Penn State largely compensate all the victims and their families. Then get rid of everyone involved (those who knew about it and saw it happening but did nothing to help the children) and boycot Penn State until these things are accomplished. For the sake of society let the children grow up in peace, liberty, and security.

    • He probably would love nothing more. men dont care about children. just their dicks! nice. The only way to keep children safe from pediphiles is to stop giving birth. It will never end

  23. What I can never understand is how this graduate student, this witness, didn’t intervene when he witnessed the rape of a child. I don’t care how shocked he was. It’s incomprehensible that he did nothing, but leave this poor little boy in the hands of a rapist.
That it was then covered up just compounds it all.
Sandusky shouldn’t have been given bail at all.

  24. I agree with so many on this board… How in the hell do you see a child getting raped and not stop it?… My lord, I would have done anything it took to stop that sick bastard from raping that kid. .. What pieces of trash these people are.

I guess in their minds, football rep, Money and JoePas legacy are more important then children being raped.

Do not try to defend these people by saying, “Well, JoePa the grad student and Curley and others did tell their superiors in the Penn State system so they did their part”.. NO! …Its the LAW to report child rape to authorities. The higher ups in the football system and the University are not authorities. The POLICE are who they should have told. The people involved failed to stop the rape of a child, failed to report it to the police, they covered it up, and allowed others to be raped. The entire thing is disgusting, the people involved are disgusting.

    • Well said. This should also be argument number one for the disbanding of campus police departments. They are all a joke, and obviously have a biased code of conduct.

  25. Penn State fired Joe Paterno and the President of Penn State tonight.

  26. I don’t care if Sandusky was abused as a child, these people, from the grad student to the administrators of the school should be held accountable for thier failure to protect the eight children. I know for certain and I mean certain that if I witnessed a child being raped I would have first stopped the situation and personally called the police. I am so appauled that none of this men thought about the damage that was done to these boys. Was the money, fame, job, so important, that they all were willing to sacrifice a child. There are no excuses here, I hope everyone involved who did nothing, feels unending guilt and shame. They may not have broken the law but they are all morally bankrupt. I hope Sandusky gets the maximum amount of jail time for each child he has hurt, that he could spend the rest of his life in jail That amount will not come close to the pain he has caused.

  27. Plaintiff attorneys are falling over themselves trying to locate all of Sandusky’s victims. Penn St. is going to be paying considerable money for this disgusting event, which should have been dealt with directly when the grad assistant first witnessed the criminal in action.
I was stunned by Paterno’s statement from yesterday:

“This is a tragedy. It is one of the great sorrows of my life. With the benefit of hindsight, I wish I had done more.

A tragedy? This is a tragedy for you, you selfish old fool. For the victims this is a crime and you are an accomplice after the fact. Still full of yourself to the very end, aren’t you Joe. You were a legend in your own mind long before you became a football legend. Your concern for the well being and safety of those young boys is only significant to you now because the truth has been revealed.

No one knows yet how many young boys have been victimized by Sandusky, but I think we can safely say that had Paterno and/or the grad assistant reported immediately to the authorities about the commission of a crime that other young boys could have been spared.

My sympathies are to the victims and their families, I can even find a modicum of sympathy for the sick and twisted Sandusky, but for the others concerned in this criminal conspiracy I have none, and feel that Paterno(as an authority figure) deserves most of the derision in this despicable affair.

  28. Anyone who is naive enough to think that this sicko did not molest his adopted children and his wife knew it is part of the problem

    • I agree. In addition to their 6 adopted children, the Sandusky family also took in numerous foster children. I’ll bet dimes to nickles that Sandusky raped more than one of the, too (if not all of them).

And his wife had to know.

I’m still betting money that Sandusky is dead by his own hand before he goes to trial.

    • So you CAN say something intelligible! Way to go, only took you 20 tries.

    • But you are part of the solution arn’t you Kimmy?

      • alvar…go troll somewhere else pleez! it’s obvious, that you are quite happy with the whole event, by ur trollish remarks…
        ur rather pathetic.
        L.

  29. can you imagine what that poor boy felt and thought when he saw someone come in and witness that act then turn right around and walk out without so much as a second thought as to saving him, how devestating and life changing for a 10 yr old, that boy or any of those boys will be scarred for life…my heart cries out to ALL chilren who have become victims. Shame on all involved and shame on all you ignorant people commenting on here about things that don’t even relate to the topic…. Its sad to know I’m raising two boys in a world filled of such ignorance and hatred….parents do everything in your power to keep your children safe…no matter what it takes…

  30. I gaurantee if a woman had walked in on a man raping a child you would have seen the lioness protecting a cub and clawing the hell out of the Nittany Lion.

  31. nor is any predator prepared for a lioness willing to go in for the kill to protect the cubs.

  32. SHAME, SHAME on all of them !

  33. fuck em all

  34. Joe Paterno was required by law as a mandated reporter to report this to a child protection agency. I am not sure if Query was an employee or a student at the time, so he may have not been mandated to report. Their names would have remained anonymous to sandusky, so they could remain cowards. The agency would have interviewed many children that sandusky came into contact with, and sandusky. Maybe one of the kids would have fessed up, and maybe it would have discouraged Sandusky from his deviant behavior, maybe he would have sought help. We will never know because no one did a fuckin thing! Guaranteed he raped his adopted kids and any foster kids, and, unless his wife is a totally brain dead, she knew about it and should also be prosecuted. Maybe she relished it and is a pervert just like her husband.

  35. 34.Anonymous says:
Maybe she relished it and is a pervert just like her husband.

maybe she is maybe she isn’t,….until it’s proved she was complicit, let’s give her the benefit of doubt that she knew nothing about it.

  36. This incident has gone from disgusting to horrific, if this proves true. I was listening to Mike Gallagher on the radio this morning and he was quoting the reporter from Pennsylvania who has been working on and reporting this story for months, that it is possible that some of the major donors to Sanduskey’s foundation may have been taking advantage of the young boys, as well.
If true, this affair has reached Ludicrous Speed.

  37. Cut that piece of shits balls off and let him bleed out

  38. for people saying fuck the big 10 how does this have anything to do with the big 10? its only penn state

  39. sandosky and the trainer are just a bunch of rats to what i think there most rapist one for doing it and one for not saying it nobody would know if you could do it to there own kids

  40. I delight in, cause I discovered exactly what I used to be looking for. You’ve ended my four day long hunt! God Bless you man. Have a nice day. Bye
