OWS campers and losers

The whole world is watching...you make complete asses of yourself

Those workers are part of the mythical 99% they claim to be fighting for.

On the bright side of things, once those 21 workers are unable to find a new job and lose their homes/apartments, they’ll always be welcome to camp out with the rest of the homeless, child molesters, rapists, thieves, drug dealers, anarchists, Marxists, and Nazis that have taken up semi-permanent residence in Zucotti  Park.

Via CBS News:

The Occupy Wall Street movement, which says its goals include improving the economic lot for 99 percent of Americans, may have some explaining to do to some cafe workers now out of a job.

Mark Epstein, owner of the Milk Street Cafe at 40 Wall Street, just let 21 employees go.

The reason? The barricades police have set up throughout Wall Street as a consequence of the ongoing demonstration.

In June, he opened the New York branch of the Boston shop, which has a 30 year history. Epstein says he leased the space on Wall Street because it was next to a pedestrian plaza – and his was the only restaurant along that plaza.

“The opening was perfect,” Epstein told CBSNewYork.com. “The food was delicious, the customers were happy, and the line was out the door….”

…Then the Occupy Wall Street movement launched…

…“The end result of it is that it completely destroyed the pedestrian traffic on Wall Street. Completely destroyed it,” Epstein said. “It is a desolate, police-controlled area.”

“We eliminated 21 positions in the company,” Epstein said. “First time in 30 years I’ve laid anybody off.”

  1. 21 jobs killed with a single beat of the bongo, that’s another good score for Obutthead.

  2. If I was one of those laid off because of these whiney bitches, I’d collect the others laid off and protest them!
Get the fuck off your lazy asses and go away! You made up lose our jobs!
They should not be able to impede others getting to work or the customers.

    • I’ve got a ‘blunt force trauma’ outlook where solutions to problems are concerned. I might just be inclined to gather any of my 21 fellow laid off coworkers and go apply sledgehammers to knees.

  3. Damn. I hope these protestors are proud of themselves..

    • They, the OWS fools, are obama’s core supporters …. you know he love this … more stuff to blame of President Bush and the republican’s.

  4. I think it’d be interesting to go to all the different Occupy sites..the websites for each city’s occupy movement..and see what’s up. My birthplace of Syracuse, NY..they’re getting smart up there. They’ve gotten their hands on an old military surplus 18×18 all weather tent and set it up, and gotten rid of some of the smaller tents. I wonder how many of the others..are getting similarly equipped to ride out the winter?

  5. Heh heh…it’s not 99%……it’s (Point) .99%.
They keep forgetting that all important little decibel before the .99 !

    :-D
