Texas: This mansion has five bedrooms and, from the looks of it, plenty of space for a drum circle. Its economically disadvantaged occupant was arrested while ‘occupying’ Wall Street on October 5.
The Daily Caller did something that the MFMM is completley incapable of these days: actual investigative reporting.
While the NY Times staff is busy leading and participating in the OWS protests, the Daily Caller was practicing something completely foreign to the NY Times’ activists…journalism:
For each of the 984 Occupy Wall Street protesters arrested in New York City between September 18 and October 15, police collected and filed an information sheet recording the arrestee’s name, age, sex, criminal charge, home address and — in most cases — race. The Daily Caller has obtained all of this information from a source in the New York City government.

Using county assessors and online resources such as Zillow.com, TheDC estimated property values and rents for 87 percent of the homes and 59 percent of the apartments listed in the arrest records.
And what did the Daily Caller’s investigation reveal? Well, if you listen to the whines and complaints of the 99%’ers in Zucotti Park, it would reveal that they are living in poverty, many of them are homeless and destitute. But, as with almost everything concerning these losers, reality doesn’t quite match up to their claims.
Amongst those arrested at OWS:
- at least 95 them live in homes worth approximately $500,000 or more
- The median monthly rent for those living in apartments is $1,850
- Of the 984 protesters arrested, at least 797 are white
- The average age of those arrested: 27 year old
As the Daily Caller concludes, “It also reinforces the persistent critique of protesters as entitled, upper-class agitators with few legitimate grievances.”
If I was paying $200K a year for my spoiled brat to attend a school like Bard, and I saw pictures of her down “occupying” Wall Street and protesting..well…me…I’d drop kick her ass out of school, my house, and my will. Ungrateful little bitches.

What’s even more entertaining is the video I linked to this morning. Some guys from a group called AIM[Accuracy in Media] set up a booth/table with job apps from all over DC. over 3dozen talked to…and only 2 takers. one filled out for Disney, and the other for Solyndra. Which is REALLY funny since Solyndra is having all it’s assets auctioned off right now.
What hit me today is that most of the protester tents and other equipment comes from North Face, part of a huge multi national corporation that, like Apple, makes their stuff in Asia
not true. in Syracuse, NY my birthplace..[yes the idiots are even protesting THERE. not surprising since Carrier closed years ago it's now strictly a College town] they got their hands on a “triple wall”, 18×18,”all weather” surplus military tent.
Just watchin’ it all unfold and disintegrate on the little ingrates……
