Kim Jong-un: Meet your new "Dear Leader," North Korea
That’s the good news (now, if only Fidel Castro would take a hint). Team America, your mission is now complete (fuck yeah!). Doug Ross sums up his reign thusly:
Kim Jong-Il’s rule — with millions dead from starvation, torture and genocide — represents just another failed experiment in progressivism, Statism, or whatever brand of Marxism you want to call it.
The bad news is that Jong’s 28 year old son, Kim Jong Un, is taking over. Or, as Deadspin calls him, “Basically That Guy You Knew In 1996 Who Always Wore A Toni Kukoc Jersey.”
Heh:
They also mention that Kim Jong Il’s son, the apparent new leader of the Norks, is a fine young orator, who, despite having a Marxist past and neither academic nor private sector credentials, and having been merely ‘present’ for a little while around the capitol, is expected to enjoy a regime propped up through muscular control of the media.
In case you didn’t catch the comparison, this reader at SDA breaks it down for you: “…both North Korea and the U.S. now have presidents who are privileged slackers who’ve never done a real day’s work in their lives.”
But more importantly — will Obama interrupt his $4m-taxpayer funded family vacation to attend the funeral of one of his idols? I’m guessing the Vegas money is at least 50/50 on this one.

What does the korean word “un” mean”? Number 3?
Freedom isn’t free…
No, there’s a hefty fuckin fee.
Why does he remind me of one of the “little people” from the Wizard of Oz?
I hope the North Korean people can catch a break and have a merry christmas without lil’kim and his idiocy.
Seems lil-kim is well fed. Ho doesn’t have to eat dogs like the rest of the people there.
This is a very, very dangerous time. Kim Jong Un is not prepared to lead, and the sharks are swarming. These jackwagons have nukes and the probable capability to mate them to ICBM’s – read NYC, D.C., etc. Better hope for some measure of stability.
So true…
The new “kid” is only 28…..that’s just great – a 28 yr. old communist.
It’ll be a long time before he croaks.
With little information available, there are reports he is overweight, diabetic and suffers from some other health issues related to a vehicle accident.
Besides his having health risks, he doesn’t necessarily have the support of the military, which could be hazardous to his health.
In any event, it will remain a well armed and secretive nation that represents a risk to South Korea and Japan.
