Which begs the question: If you didn’t know what the hell was going on when you passed Obama’s wealth-transfer boondoggle, why the hell did you? Same question applies to Obamacare.
I’ve always admired Hitchens — even when I disagreed with him (which was often). I see a lot of my own defiant and in-your-face attitude in him. Or of his in me.

The Terry family’s letter is a damning indictment of those responsible for Fast & Furious:
It takes a special kind of stupid to lay down on the rail road tracks and a monumental act of abuse and reckless endangerment to do the same with a small child.
But when I mention stories like this one — an abuse of corny capitalism that far exceeds anything they think Gov. Perry might have pulled off — perpetrated by Obama…they’re eyes just kind of glaze over, as if they either don’t believe it to be true, or they simply don’t care.
Gov. Perry’s campaign has undeniably suffered some set backs. But all of them have been during debates (that very few people even watched). Where Gov. Perry does exceptionally well is face-to-face with American’s citizens and voters.
