For background info on this historic event and the livestream link, click here. The administrative hearing began at 8a.m. CST.

What is really interesting in this hearing is that neither Obama or his attorney will attend. Also, the findings of the hearing will be presented to the Georgia Secretary of State, who is the highest election authority of the state.

Yesterday, the Georgia SoS was informed neither Obama or his counsel would attend and he replied to counsel with the following letter:

Should the SoS rule Obama is ineligible to appear on the Georgia ballot it should be noted that Georgia represents 15 electoral college votes. However, there is some question that if one state doesn’t allow him on their ballot other states will not either, but haven’t had time to research to discover what is true. What we do know is this is being heard today and there are several other states with eligibility challenges pending.

  1. Interesting? Certainly. whether anything will come of it? *shrug* remains to be seen

    • We’ll see what happens. That they weren’t able to get this thrown out like all the other challenges to his eligibility at least deserves one raised eyebrow.
The SoS telling B. Hussein’s attorney that their failure to appear would be to “do so at your own peril” was a very nice touch. I’m sure B.Hussein believes he owns enough judges and courts where this issue could be muted.

  2. Prediction 1: The Georgia SoS will order Obama’s name placed on the ballot. This is the most likely outcome.

Prediction 2: In the unlikely event that the Georgeia SoS orders Obama’s name to be removed from the ballot, the State of Georgia will immediately be sued in federal courts, and ultimately the SCOTUS will order Obama’s name to be placed on the ballot.

Any other outcome is so unlikely as to be effectivey impossible.

Why, yes, I am a pessimist. Why do you ask?

    • I, on the other hand, am an optimist.
This is the first of several states, including Arizona, that have challenges to his eligibility. How many states ruling him ineligible for his candidacy to be imperiled, one…more?
If it goes to the Supremes, can Lil Barry be assured a victory?
Any journey begins with one step.

      • I am just estatic that this happened. That SOMEONE didn’t knuckle under to an “order” to something obama wanted done!

  3. First an article I liked about the trial and barry’s no show.

I wonder how many other states have the cojones to follow Georgia’s lead ?
If barry’s not on Georgia’s ballot, he loses their 15 electoral votes.

    Texas has 34 electoral votes.
Only California has a higher number than Texas – 55.

    • I need to dig around and see if I can find any transcripts from the hearing. It might take weeks before the SoS rules on the judges findings.

    • Found an interesting post by some writers that attended the event.

Georgia Ballot Challenge: Obama Walks On By:

Since Obama and his attorney chose not to be present at defense and dispute the evidence that was presented, this can be taken as an admission that all of the evidence admitted were indeed facts and may not be disputed at a later time on appeal! The irony of this course is that Obama is declaring that the court has no Jurisdiction in this matter and will appeal as a matter of law though these damning facts may very well stand! It also gives the impression that he considers himself above the law — Georgia’s. We have a plethora of data points on the sequestering of all of Obama’s records and bona fides which he has spent millions of dollars to keep out the public’s hands for the last four years. After this hearing we may eventually know why.
