Thanks, ICE, for releasing this sexual predator (and illegal immigrant) back onto the mean streets of Chicago.
One more reason to deport every single illegal immigrant every single time we find them in our country.
A suspected child rapist is on the loose and in a statement obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement accepts responsibility for releasing him.
The man is identified by ICE as Amado Espinosa-Ramirez. Chicago police arrested him last August, and he was ultimately charged with forty-two counts of predatory sexual acts.
A publicly available inventory of the charges against Espinosa-Ramirez lists multiple counts of sexual relations within the family, multiple counts of sexual assault with the use of force and multiple counts of sexual assault involving a minor less than thirteen years old.
After his Aug. 29, 2011 arrest, Espinosa-Ramirez appeared on Aug. 31 in the Chicago courtroom of Cook County Circuit Court Judge Maria Kuriakos-Ciesil.
At this point, Espinosa-Ramirez was only charged with a handful of the forty-two counts listed in his final indictment. Kuriakos-Ciesil gave Espinosa-Ramirez a bond of $100,000, meaning a $10,000 payment would bail him out of jail.
Also on Aug. 31, ICE placed a detainer, or hold, on Espinosa-Ramirez. If he did post bail, ICE would detain him rather than allowing his release.
Except that when ICE did get their incompetent (and not at all concerned with actually enforcing our country’s immigration laws) hands on this PoS, they let him go. And then act surprised when he doesn’t show up for his hearing. He’s likely back in Mexico raping children there (which isn’t really any better than him raping children here, is it?). Or maybe he only made it as far south as Texas, and is simply living under the radar in one of our numerous sanctuary cities (looking at you Houston and Austin).
On the positive side, if he did stay in Chicago, there’s a very high probability that he’ll be randomly shot do death by a Chicago gangbanger while walking down the street.
The moment this man was arrested (and charged) with those forty-two counts of predatory sexual acts on a minor, and we discovered his illegal immigration status, he should have been immediately deported to the southern most border of Mexico (with an “accidental” castration along the way…oops…sorry, amigo, don’t know how that happened…). Or — my preference — put him on the next C-130 bound for Afghanistan and drop him in the middle of that God-foresaken third-world country and let him find his way back home to his own God-foresaken third-world country (Mexico).

I’ll blame the judge. Bail should have been higher. The guy is illegal and has no ties to the community. Of course, he would flee.

As much as child molesters are despised by other criminals, I say throw him in any jail’s General Population and we’ll never hear anything about or from him again.
Allowing this cretin to go free should be grounds for charging someone at ICE for aiding in a felony/felonies.
