Matthew Owens, beat nearly to death by mob of black people -- Media asks, "What's that shiny thing over there?"
John Hawkins has the perfect take on this story(that the MFM is ignoring. Because NARRATIVE!):
Only in America can you have a Hispanic guy get assaulted by a black guy, shoot him, and then have black guys assaulting random white people to get “revenge” for the Hispanic guy not being lynched without a trial.
This makes at least the third known case where a mob of blacks has attacked an innocent white person and claimed that it was retribution for Trayvon. Of course, blacks haven’t really needed an excuse to go out in packs and attack innocent white people in the past — they just gave it fun names. Like “Polar Bear Hunting” or “Get Whitey Night”.
If you only get your news from CBS, NBC, ABC, NPR, CNN, or MSBNC (then you are an idiot, but I digress), you wouldn’t have seen this story in the news at all:
MOBILE, Alabama — Mobile police need your help to catch a mob that beat Matthew Owens so badly that he’s in critical condition.
According to police, Owens fussed at some kids playing basketball in the middle of Delmar Drive about 8:30 Saturday night. They say the kids left and a group of adults returned, armed with everything but the kitchen sink.
Police tell News 5 the suspects used chairs, pipes and paint cans to beat Owens.
Owens’ sister, Ashley Parker, saw the attack. “It was the scariest thing I have ever witnessed.” Parker says 20 people, all African American, attacked her brother on the front porch of his home, using “brass buckles, paint cans and anything they could get their hands on.”
Police will only say “multiple people” are involved.
What Parker says happened next could make the fallout from the brutal beating even worse. As the attackers walked away, leaving Owen bleeding on the ground, Parker says one of them said “Now that’s justice for Trayvon.”
Cowards. You’ll notice that in most of these types of attacks, blacks much prefer to hunt in packs and attack only when they have overwhelming numbers in their favor. Which is also why you should never leave your house without your gun and a BUG, too. And John Derbyshire was right — avoid places where black people congregate en mass and don’t let your wife or kids go to these places either:
(10) Thus, while always attentive to the particular qualities of individuals, on the many occasions where you have nothing to guide you but knowledge of those mean differences, use statistical common sense:

(10b) Stay out of heavily black neighborhoods.

(10e) If you are at some public event at which the number of blacks suddenly swells, leave as quickly as possible.
(10f) Do not settle in a district or municipality run by black politicians.
(10g) Before voting for a black politician, scrutinize his/her character much more carefully than you would a white.
(10h) Do not act the Good Samaritan to blacks in apparent distress, e.g., on the highway.
(10i) If accosted by a strange black in the street, smile and say something polite but keep moving.
I’d rather be politically incorrect than a victim of not-so-random black violence.
Our President and his staff, deeply versed in Critical Race Theory and with a deep hatred of White America, in intentionally fomenting racial division and strife in our country. John Hinderacker: “As it turned out, Obama’s election represented a setback for race relations in the United States, an outcome that virtually no one foresaw.”
And it’s about to come to a boil this summer in a city near you. All I’m saying is that you need to watch your six, and be prepared at all times.

Where they basically claim it is justified….if only we could have immediately hanged George Zimmerman (despite his innocence) without a trial and caved into the threat of black mob violence, blacks wouldn’t have been forced (be whitey, no doubt) to take to the streets to seek their own justice.

I am starting to look seriously at buying a firearm. Does anyone have anything to say about a Glock in .40 cal.?? Is it a good choice for me?
Don’t know about a specific firearm. Find a local gun shop and ask them–they are way more knowledgeable on this stuff. Though a local pawn shop may have better deals.
Glock 40 is good if you can handle the round. I would stay away from 380 and 9mm. I have seen stories where a thug was shot several times with a 9, drove himself to a hospital and was patched up. I am all about knock down power. Most gun fights last a few seconds and 2-3 rounds are about all you can get off. I carry a 45 but also have a 357 mag in my vehicle. Small hole going in but BIG hole coming out!!
Regardless of the round, make certain the handgun fits your hand. If it is not comfortable, your accuracey will decrease. Above all else practice! Don’t think just because you own a handgun that magically you know how to fire it. I spent years doing tactical shooting competitions where I threw thousands of rounds down range every month. Yes it can be expensive, but I can assure you that if the time comes I can and will unload my 5-6 rounds in ~1.5 seconds!

A lot of shooting ranges have rental guns. Go try a few out. Find one that feels comfortable not just in your hand, but that you will be comfortable carrying everyday, too. My current everyday carry is a Kahr .40 S&W. It’s not my favorite gun I’ve ever owned (I much, much prefer a .45 ACP round). But I got it at a great price at McBride’s, it has plenty of stopping power, and it’s a very nice gun for concealed carry.
I still keep something with a little more stopping power inside my truck with me…but keep the .40 on my person everywhere else.
If I buy a firearm, I am going to practice. There is a Tactical range between where I live and Stephenville, tx that i am planning to use. D-Mac and Mark, thank you for your kind words.
Yes, check out rental guns at shooting ranges. A .45 auto or .357 magnum revolver are great defensive weapons. A .357 revolver has the added bonus of allowing you to begin practicing with .38spl ammo until you are comfy with the recoil. Then you can progress up to .38spl+P and finally full bore .357 magnum round. Ruger makes several great .357 mag revolvers. My fav is the GP100. The .45 auto has the advantage of more more rounds in the 8rd mag and quick reloading. Spoil yourself and get both guns. Good luck.
