If you reversed the races, and made the shooter black and the deceased a white Hispanic, and then released the black shooter out on bail — he could go straight home without fear of “white people” forming mobs to come and murder him in cold blood. He could sit on his front porch waiting for his trial to start, and never once have to worry about packs of angry white people hell bent on murdering him.
Something is wrong — seriously wrong — with black culture that George Zimmerman has to hide in fear of his life from an angry black mob.

In an unusually low-key turn to a high-profile case, George Zimmerman was released without incident around midnight Sunday from a Florida county jail on $150,000 bail as he awaits his second-degree murder trial for fatally shooting Trayvon Martin.
The neighborhood watch volunteer was wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans and carrying a paper bag. He walked out following another man and didn’t look over at photographers gathered outside. He then followed the man into a white BMW vehicle and drove away.
Moments before, two Seminole County sheriff’s vehicles blocked access to the intake building parking lot where Zimmerman was being released. Zimmerman emerged after two public information officers confirmed the credentials of the photographers outside.
No questions were shouted at Zimmerman, and he gave no statement.
His ultimate destination is being kept secret for his safety and it could be outside Florida.
Why should his safety be at issue? Are you telling me that black people cannot control their emotions and anger, and are inclined to act out violently as justification for their anger and frustrations? The answer is that no — the black community, when it gathers en mass, does not seem to be able to control their tendencies towards random and brutal acts of violence. Against each other or anybody else unfortunate enough to be caught in their crossfire.
Meanwhile, Daily Beast columnist Mansfield Frazier has decided that “innocent until proven guilty” is an antiquated notion, and that Zimmerman should plea to a lesser charge simply to keep the black community from acting…well…black. In other words, if Zimmerman is found innocent or charges are dismissed (as they should be), that blacks will riot, loot, burn shit to the ground, and most likely act out violently against innocent white people (like this thug who beat up an unsuspecting and innocent white man because, as he states, I was angry about Trayvon. Maybe he should have taken his anger out on a Hispanic, then…I’m just say’n).
As George Zimmerman faces murder charges for shooting Trayvon Martin, it’s worth asking if America is in danger of facing Rodney King, Part II?
That’s what I see down the tracks: If this case goes all the way to trial, it’s a train wreck waiting to happen. The time is now for strong hands to take the helm and steady the ship of state—not to mention our national racial, political and legal discourse. The paramount concern has to be to avert a large-scale racial calamity.
Uh…what the fuck? The paramount concern is that the truth is revealed and justice is administered accordingly. If the facts point to George Zimmerman having acted in self-defense (as they do), then the most important concern isn’t preventing black people from rioting in the streets, it’s setting an innocent man free. As the PJ Tattler notes: “Instead Frazier offers the extraordinary advice that despite a critically — perhaps criminally — flawed prosecution, George Zimmerman should just cop a guilty plea anyway to assuage his violence-prone critics in the black community in an attempt to keep the violent mobs at bay.”
So what would a fair outcome look like? To my mind, the government offers Zimmerman a plea deal that has him back on the street within this decade, and he accepts it quietly. That seems like a conclusion most reasonable Americans could live with. Of course, no matter how long or short any sentence may be, there will be those who disagree, some vehemently.

Really Sam….. I was born in the northside hospital years ago when it was still decent. Spent my first eight years in Robinson Township. Of course back then it was mostly apple trees and dairy cows. Moved to Texas when I was 8 and have been here ever since. I still have many relatives in your area and get up that way often. Most of PA is very similar to Texas. Very true…like yourself, I enjoy living in Central Texas but we are looking (as Austin grows more and more annoying liberally) for a different town in Texas where we feel life can be enjoyed more and safer. As I drove today, I saw so many cars with “Justice for Cisco”. Now I am the first to say that was a painful accident but as this city keeps screaming injustice (as we saw recently with the cocaine cowboy’s demise), it is seeming more and more pleasant to seek a home elsewhere where more like minded people reside.

Sanford Mayor Jeff Triplett called the special hour-long meeting with city commissioners Monday afternoon. Commissioners voted 3-2 against the resolution, with Triplett and Commissioners Patty Mahany and Randy Jones voting against it. The resolution would have allowed City Manager Norton Bonaparte to execute the separation agreement for Lee. Under the agreement, Lee would have resigned from his post, effective at midnight.
“In light of the vote, Chief Lee will remain on paid administrative leave while an investigation continues into the handling of the Trayvon Martin case by the Sanford Police Department,” Bonaparte said. Captain Darren Scott will remain as Acting Police Chief.
