Pat Caddell, a Democratic pollster/pundit and former adviser to Jimmy Carter, blasts the LameStreamMedia.
In the following informative and passionate address at the Accuracy In Media conference ‘ObamaNation: A Day Of Truth,’ he gives examples of the egregious behavior of this administration and the even more egregious lack of coverage by the LSM.
“The press’s job is to stand in the ramparts and protect the liberty and freedom of all of us from a government and from organized governmental power. When they desert those ramparts and go to serve—to decide that they will now become an active participant—when they decide that their job is not simply to tell you who you may vote for, and who you may not, but, worse—and this is the danger of the last two weeks—what truth that you may know, as an American, and what truth you are not allowed to know, they have, then, made themselves a fundamental threat to the democracy, and, in my opinion, made themselves the enemy of the American people. And it is a threat to the very future of this country if…we allow this stuff to go on, and…we’ve crossed a whole new and frightening slide on the slippery slope this last two weeks, and it needs to be talked about.”

Yeah..Goebbels would be so proud.
I read that article yesterday, and wanted to do a post on exactly that quote — “the MSM has become an enemy of the American people.”
Because it’s true.
As much as I despise leftists, and as much as I want to wage war to defeat them…the MFM has in return become my real enemy. More than leftist politicians; more than the lemmings who follow them.
I was talking to a friend the other day, and we were talking about “WTSHTF” — I said that when the revolution starts (and we are getting close, folks) an overwhelming majority of patriots are going to storm the capitol in D.C. and state houses around the country with their pitchforks and ropes.
But a number of us, me included, will head straight for the homes and offices of their talking mouthpieces who were complicit in the down fall of our once great nation.
I think the “fictional” essay N2L posted a while back on “What I saw at the coupe” could turn out to be eerily prophetic.
Great minds and such. ‘What I Saw At The Coup’ popped into my mind when watching this video. Gaining control of the media has been a long slow steady process since the Frankfurt School found a home at Columbia University in the late 30′s.
