It’s been more than three years since Nidal Hasan went on an Islamic jihad against his fellow Soldiers at Ft. Hood, murdering more than 13 of them.
Three years later, and he still hasn’t stood trial. Nor has the Obama regime called it terrorism, instead referring to it as an act of ”work place violence.” Nor has he authorized Purple Hearts for those wounded and or killed in the act of terror.
And what’s holding up the process? I mean other than Obama ordering it to be delayed until after the election…
Attorneys for the suspect charged in the Fort Hood shooting spree have filed their appeal of rulings that he can have his beard forcibly shaved before his murder trial.
An Army statement says Maj. Nidal Hasan’s attorneys filed their appeal Wednesday with the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
The appeal also seeks to have the military judge presiding over his case, Col. Gregory Gross, removed, claiming he is biased against Hasan.
Last month, the U.S. Army Court of Criminal Appeals upheld Gross’ order to shave Hasan. His court-martial remains on hold pending the appeals.
The 42-year-old Army psychiatrist faces the death penalty if convicted in the 2009 attack that killed 13 and wounded more than two dozen others on the Central Texas Army post.
Meanwhile, the Obama’s political prisoner, Mark Bassely Youssef (the man who created the anti-Muslim Youtube video that Obama/Hillary both blamed for the non-existent protest outside of our Benghazi consulate, which resulted in 4 dead Americans) has not only been arrested and tried for his serious crime of Using the First Amendment, but now he’s been sentenced to prison:
The California man behind an anti-Muslim film that led to violence in many parts of the Middle East was sentenced Wednesday to a year in federal prison for probation violations in an unrelated matter, then issued a provocative statement through his attorney.
The sentence was the result of a plea bargain between lawyers for Mark Bassely Youssef and federal prosecutors. Youssef admitted in open court that he had used several false names in violation of his probation order and obtained a driver’s license under a false name. He was on probation for a bank fraud case.
Shortly after Youssef left the courtroom, his lawyer, Steven Seiden, came to the front steps of the courthouse and told reporters his client wanted to send a message.
“The one thing he wanted me to tell all of you is President Obama may have gotten Osama bin Laden, but he didn’t kill the ideology,” Seiden said.
Asked what that meant, Seiden said, “I didn’t ask him, and I don’t know.”
You can believe if you’d like to that Youssef was sought out, his identity revealed, arrested, tried, and now imprisoned because of a “probation violation” if you want to. But the truth is that Obama had him found and arrested to appease his friends in the Muslim Brotherhood. As Robert Spencer points out, “The probation violation is a pretext. Youssef’s imprisonment is for violating Sharia blasphemy laws.”
How many political prisoners will be sentenced under these Obama-sanctioned blasphemy guidelines in the next four years under a pro-sharia administration? Make no mistake: had this “Nakoula” Basseley Youssef not made a Youtube video insulting Muhammad, he never would have been brought to trial.
This is Obama’s America. But don’t blame me, I voted for freedom.
