State Sen. Greg Ball (R) will join Putnam County Clerk Denis Sant and other elected officials at the clerk’s office tomorrow at noon to formally announce that the Journal News will not be getting Putnam Pistol Permits records.
“The asinine editors at the Journal News have gone out of their way to place a virtual scarlet letter on law abiding firearm owners throughout the region,” Ball said in a statement, “and I thank God that Putnam County has a clerk with the guts to stand up and draw the line here.”

So it appears that this is the hill on which the Journal News has decided to die, which announced that is has plans to publish even more names and addresses of gun owners in NY.
In addition to publishing the names and addresses of these losers from the Journal News, it’s time to start publishing their photos and names of their relatives. Two can play this game.
Once again, here’s the names and addresses of the newspaper employees.
I’d say it’s time to really take it to the enemy (yes, the media is the enemy of freedom and liberty-loving Americans and they are deserving of our full disdain and disrespect, and I urge all of my brothers and sisters to treat them with open hostility and belittlement at every opportunity).
Publishing the names, photos, and home addresses of their editors, reporters, photographers, and publishers is a good start. But not enough. Also start finding the names, photos, and addresses of their relatives. And of their advertisers.
And then it’s time to organize and begin utilizing our first amendment rights to peacefully assemble. In front of the homes of these editors and journalists. I’m not sure what the gun laws are in NY concerning long rifles, but if these protests were in Texas, I would suggest that all of the protesters bring their long rifles with them: AR-15, shotgun, 30-06, .30-30…whatever. And carry them (in a non-threatening manner) for no other reason that BECAUSE WE CAN.
The entire purpose of the Journal News’ anti-gun map is intimidation. So let’s intimidate them right back, but step it up several orders of magnitude.

Its a shame that they published the CPL premits names, but what is sad is now the thugs know which house’s dont have weapons and are easy targets. They know exactly which place’s to hit knowing these familys dont have any protection.

Exactly. If I were an armed and dangerous thug, looking for some easy, rich targets to burglar, I would start with the map that shows the homes of all of these pantie-wearing Journal News employees.
I read somewhere that is was against the law in NY to just turn over the entire list of permit owners. I can’t remember where I saw it.

I’ve been unable to find a complete list of names of everyone who appeared in that ad. I don’t recognize about a third of them.
