Cash all decked out for his first Christmas
What a blessed year it’s been for my wife and I. Sure, we’ve had to endure the re-election of the narcissistic Socialist in Chief, but even that is not enough to dampen the birth of our own little miracle child this year.
We’re a great nation. Greater than the evil forces working to destroy it.
From me and my family, I wish you the merriest of Christmases.
UPDATE: Who has the best wife ever? The guy who got a new Taylor Made driver AND a new Mossberg 500 12-gauge shotgun for Christmas. My wife said the guy at the store where she bought both of them was extremely jealous and said she was the best wife ever, too.
Then of course there was the bottle of Jack Daniels Single Barrel whiskey that my brother gave me, and my Christmas was filled with guns, golf, and whiskey. My family knows me so well…
Some new toys for Christmas. The one in my left hand is for WTSHTF. The toy in my right hand is in case it doesn’t.

I agree, whoever thought burnt orange was fashionable must have been color blind (if not just blind period). It’s washing him out in the picture. A maroon Johnny Football jersey would be better (who BTW may be a better golfer than QB).
But seriously, happy belated Merry Christmas to you and yours. And in a few years you can teach him the joys of gun control–hitting his target consistently!

The beauty of it is, guys…our neighbors, who are huge A&M fans/alumni are the ones who bought the outfit for Cash. When we went over to their house yesterday to exchange gifts, he handed it and said, “Hurry up and get this out of my house. It’s been keeping me up nights knowing we have this God-awful color in my house.”
Funnier, because we bought their 8-year old son an A&M Reveille pet pillow.
That is funny.
I love high school and college football rivalries.
It will be interesting to see the Cotton Bowl. Stoops is 11-2 all-time with TAMU and Sumlin was the OU co-offensive coordinator/passing game coordinator/wide receiver coach through Sam Bradford’s freshman year, so there really isn’t any hate there.
What still burns my biscuits is the stupid BCS. OU got ripped off for millions by that ridiculous formula. I mean really….Northern Illinois in a BCS bowl?
Real man wear orange or any other color for that matter. Just my opinion. Cash’s happy face deflects the jersey anyway.
Kids are a true blessing. Conservative kids even bigger a blessing.

In the modern era of college football UT has four, OU has seven.
maroon would be Texas A&M, no?! That is what I thought. OK doesn’t exist here in Texas!
It exists in this UT undergrad/TAMU grad’s heart, along with many other OU fans in Texas.
Bud Wilkinson was like a 3rd grandfather to me.
Besides, UT is the only school to name its stadium after a former OU All-American football player that I know of.
Yeah…. but the only reason OU is good is because all the Texas players are lured there by the booze and cheap prostitutes!! hahahaha!
I have nothing against them (I am a Beerkat, a Cougar, and a Nittany Lion; yeah I know!!)…. but again, the comments above were about A&M. Plus you all in Dallas may as well say your from OK being that far north!
Grew up a Sooner fan in East Texas. I had no idea where Austin was, but listened to Sooner football every Saturday. As for all the Texas players on their roster, there aren’t as many as their used to be, they recruit nationally.
My oldest brother went to UH on a football scholarship, so I have always had a sweet spot for the Coogs and I will be pulling for the Beerkats to beat ND State this time in the actual National Championship.
Dallas is a very funny place for sports fans, I see the badges/stickers from all over the country and for the Cotton Bowl you could fill it with just the Aggie and Sooner fans living in this area.
As for Oklahoma, if shit gets any weirder here in Texas politically, I would head there in a heart beat.
Before I forget, I sure do thank the Fighting Sanduskys for the wide receiver Justin Brown at OU for this one season. Great kid, good character, excellent athlete and respected senior for all the young receivers. Also, this exchange actually began about school colors and my quote by The Boz showed my bias.

Thinking about this link, a few thoughts.
