This is such beautiful schadenfreude. I hope to see them completely collapse and disappear in the next few years.
As more-and-more Americans wake up to realize that the MFM is not just part of the problem, but is actually a greater enemy to freedom, liberty, and prosperity than the Democrat Socialist Party that they support and spin for, the more we’re turning against them.
The New York Times on Monday announced that it would offer buyout packages to 30 newsroom employees, and that layoffs would ensue if the 30 spots were not voluntarily filled. Citing a difficult “economic environment” that has led in recent years to a 60 percent staff reduction on the paper’s business side, Executive Editor Jill Abramson said, “There is no getting around the hard news that the size of the newsroom staff must be reduced.”
While the loss of 30 jobs pales in comparison to the ousting of roughly 100 newsroom staffers in 2008, it is the latest evidence that the Times continues to struggle despite putting up a subscriber paywall, which was intended to extract more revenue directly from online readers.
Few things would make me happier than the death of the Democrat Media Complex, which includes the NY Times, Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, and pretty much every other main stream media organization not named Fox News.
And then, right after that, I hope that every single person who voted for Obama loses their job. Followed by their cars and then their homes.
