GOP Completely Capitulates to Dem Fiscal Cliff Demands; White House Points and Laughs
1$ in fake spending cuts (no real cuts, just accounting trickery) for every $41 in new taxes on Americans. The CBO indicates that the Fiscal Cliff bill has $620 billion in new tax hikes to only $15 billion in (fake) spending cuts, which passed by a vote of 89-8 in the US Senate.
Senate gave middle finger to everyone in America. You want lower taxes & less spending? Tough. You’re getting higher taxes & more spending.

And that’s because the Marxist refuse to retreat on the spending cuts. These Marxist never compromise by reducing the size of government; they simply reduce the rate of growth. And Government continues to grow unabated.
And Boehner and McConnell think this is a good deal?
Bull shit.
This is nearly complete capitulation. The GOP is feckless and gutless and we (actual Conservatives) should abandon them immediately and completely and let them die a lonely death.
We have reached the point where temporarily averting self-inflicted disasters at the last second is a political success.

Meanwhile, the White House is openly gloating and mocking Republicans for being such sackless pussies.
Any President who would spin the ridiculous”deal” as a “win” is definitely a man with an ideological agenda, axe to grind.

Via Legal-Insurrection, the basic details are in this post. The index to the bill is here, and the full bill here.
The Republican Senators voting against the bill were Rubio, Paul, Grassley, Lee, Shelby, and the Democrats were Harkin, Bennet and Carper. Not voting were DeMint, Lautenberg, and Kirk.
Anyway…now we’re waiting on the House to vote to approve this spending bill, which originated in the Senate (to hell with that pesky little document called “the Constitution,” which says it is supposed to happen in the reverse order). Once again, I expect complete capitulation.
And, since it’s Boehner that we’re talking about, tears.

As a conservative I am dismayed and bewildered. I have not left my party but now I can say that my party has left me.
And Cornyn is right there with those that voted for this debacle. I guess try as I might, I’ll never figure that man out, or know for sure what he stands for!
Cornyn is a political opportunist. All he cares about is keeping his seat of power (and growing his own personal power and prestige). He’s the very definition of a slimy, disgusting politician. He’ll play lip service to his constituents from time-to-time, but push-comes-to-shove? He’s all in for himself.
The republican party has changed its mascot from an elephant to a rhinoceros.
The Tea Party/Libertarian/independents need to go on steroids for the next election cycle…..if there is one.
Wow…they just violated the constitution, again. Big. Fucking. Shock. I really hate to start the first day of the new year with this thought but…fuck it.
Kill em all and don’t even leave 6 for pall bearers. That’s what napalm is for.
Who would’ve thunk it?
Littly Baby Boehner and his year long tan bowed down to his master, Obama, again.
Fuck em both!
